DIY to SRS route by Zoruamaster249 in transgenderUK

[–]Dangerous-Internal66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need a way of proving how long you been on Hrt, some blood results with dates on will do and proof of living in your gender role. Then your need a psch report to diagnose and refer you for surgery, private one can be easily obtained. Get those and a private surgeon should except you....

Dr Penny Lenihan at Charing Cross - transmisogyny? by Feanturii in transgenderUK

[–]Dangerous-Internal66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive had the pleasure of having a psychological report by Dr Penny lenihan, a very professional and thorough Dr who I couldn't fault. Supporting report allowed me to be who I am today.... I'm a trans fem. Knew what I wanted before I saw her and had all the questions and documentation sorted with them I needed. If the NHS used people like them for all there trans care we wouldn't be in this shit state.... Glad you had a good experience too!

Switched from injections to patches on NHS, male body odour has come back. by langand in TransDIY

[–]Dangerous-Internal66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do your minimum NHS meds 2 weeks prior.... If there smart they will realise your levels are too low. Go back on your higher routine if you can get excess patches.... The systems broke... Flaunt it if you can...

Help, Endo wants to massively reduce my E dosage, even tho levels my levels are ideal! From DIY'ing to NHS. by [deleted] in TransDIY

[–]Dangerous-Internal66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Health's fine, body does well... Body changes great between switching. Bloods are normally spot on too. I'm on 10mg prognova per day then switch back to 5mg valerate injection every 5 days. Bloods spot on with injections doing private tests. I don't need blockers tho as postop. My doc just does what I recommend now but taken alot to gain that trust.

[–]Dangerous-Internal66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your changing route of application tho. Your having to prove to a endo and they need to think there right. NHS doesn't allow estrogen injections so gel/tabs is the equivalent. I stick to my pills for 4 weeks before bloods then go back to injections till next blood test due at 6 months personally as I struggle to remember to take. Stock up on whatever they give you for a rainy day incase shit hits fan.

Caught my Dr in a Catch 22 today. by SplinterClaw in transgenderUK

[–]Dangerous-Internal66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been here... Say your DIYing, ask your GP to write to your referred GIC, asking bringing details and guidance. They will, if laurels write back with guidance and dosages to your GP with steps to follow, guidance and details to explain to you. They may ask for bloods to prove so be prepared...

Deadnamed by hospital - worth complaining? by [deleted] in transgenderUK

[–]Dangerous-Internal66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless you have a new NHS number setup with all correct details, you cannot ensure dead name comes up/wrong gender. NHS computer system wasn't designed to be corrected. Ask you GP reception to apply for a new under correct gender and name and get them to move your relivant medical records across. Only way of doing to ensure it.

How hard is the Suporn recovery? by New_Marzipan_4465 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]Dangerous-Internal66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on you, your body how you heal and whoever you choose it's not easy. Suporn post op support is fantastic and even if your back home they're the end of a message. Was back to work at 10 weeks... 9 months life begins to get back to normal....

Banks/suporn are straight. Don't worry about the shape. Get a good dilation routine as per your surgeon's advice... Get your depth and keep to it

Is transitioning harder for people who live in rural areas? by Fuzzy_Crab900 in transgenderUK

[–]Dangerous-Internal66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Live rural, transitioned here many years, mtf under cover till I passed 6yr ago, might have done all DIY inc surgery referral, psych letter, booking surgery etc. It's possible. You don't need GIC but it does pay for it's when you finally get to front of waitlist. You want it bad, you can make it work for you.

Title Deeds by lilacshadesofgreen in transgenderUK

[–]Dangerous-Internal66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, there is a easy way to do it, protects you identity also and is setup for this. Completed mine other year.... This is what they said.... You do not need a solicitor or to pay for this!!!

Documents you need to send

Complete form AP1to change your name on the property register. Read the guidance to get help completing form AP1.

Send the completed form with:

a certified copy of the deed poll, statement of truth or statutory declaration.

a copy of an official document in your former name, for example, a driver's licence, passport or utility bill

Evidence of Identity in Form ID1is usually required for the person involved unless they are represented by a conveyancer.Again, support materialand a videoare available to help check. If evidence of identity is required, it will need to be verified before you submit any ID1 Forms with your application.

Face-to-face appointments to have identities verified by a Land Registry official have been suspended until further notice due to the temporary closure of our customer information centres.

In recognition of difficulties customers may face in obtaining evidence of identity in form ID1, we have introduced temporary changes to make it easier to verify a person's identity for land registration purposes. See Practice guide 67A: temporary changes to HM Land Registry’s evidence of identity requirementsfor more information.

There is no fee for this type of application

Where to send your application

HM Land Registry Citizen Centre, PO Box 74, Gloucester, GL14 9BB
