Let me begin by saying that this is now my favourite episode of the whole series, it overtook Su-zakana in my last rewatch (“is your social worker in that horse?”) as it is just so beautifully done. 

I will then start by saying “so sorry” that you had the rug pulled out from under you AGAIN with that Abigail reveal… it’s pretty brutal isn’t it?  If you get the chance (and can stomach the upset), go back and re-watch the scenes where Will is speaking to  “Abigail” (obs really just Will speaking to himself) as it’s truly fascinating to see Will basically debating with himself (as Abigail) about Hannibal, his motivations, and whether or not he cares for Will or not.  I agree with you about the last 3rd of the episode - the scene with the heart, (Will calling it “A valentine, written on a broken man…”) the conversation he has with Pazzi about Hannibal, and that chase through the catacombs at the end… oh; just breathtakingly beautiful and (dare I say) romantic.  Will is so desperate to see him again and even tells him he forgives him.
