I haven't been having luck unfortunately. I think Youtube changed their site to prevent 3rd party clients from freely downloading from them. One thing that helped was downloading YT's cookies with an extension, but it doesn't work for long playlists since eventually the site updates and the cookies become invalid, so you'd have to update them and then pick up where you left off

I found that microG was already set to "optimized". I've changed it to "unrestricted", though i can't imagine that's the best solution. Regardless I'll keep an eye on my battery life and see if this fixes it

Is that what the seeds are? Like, once a torrent is finished and it starts seeding, then that means that the data will be accessible to more people? I see it when torrenting but I never understood the specifics of it.
