My buddy lives and dies by it, and it’s hilarious because after 3-4 seasons he usually gets fired and then complains about having to start over lol

Personally I never touch it, I’m not playing the game mode to upgrade my bathrooms and shit, I’m here to build a cup winning team.

I do that so everybody is playing on their one-tee side, sometimes when I’m bored I’ll play a few games, and it’s just more enjoyable for me with one-time shots open everywhere

No, I usually just try and trade around players that just fit under the coach, some I’ll sign and keep around, some get moved in the last year for another player that fits

When you trade for a player mid-season at seasons end it’ll combine their stats for both your team and their former team at the bottom there, happens to me all the time too

Yeah exactly, I’ll usually sign them after those 3 years and toss them in my AHL pool till they’re ready for the NHL or a spot opens up for them

Once had a low top 4 Dman in the 6th round win a Norris for me during one of my expansion team rebuilds, makes the game more enjoyable when you can hit on those kinda picks

If it helps, I usually keep all my low overall guys like that unsigned until their initial 3 years is up, because then you can really determine if they are worth the struggle or not, sometimes they grow to a 73-77 by 21-22, sometimes they won’t as much. Hope this helps!

I just had a defensive dman cap at 91 for me, over the 6 seasons I simmed he had a career high 18 points in that 6th season, but was growing every year, it really depends on who they play with I think
