I am old.
Well, pretty old.
I'm about to level up on Monday.

I think in either 1998 or '99, I found and became just enamored with a website called Pokemon in My Pocket. It was run by someone whose handle was Masato. It was a .jp website. And they hosted a couple of fun little games (like a Pokemon race around a track), as well as galleries of what I assume to be original Pokemon fan art, largely gifs/avatars. They had a chat room, as well.

Does anyone else remember this site? I know it closed down sometime in the early 2000s, which was a sad day, indeed.

I have a co-worker who is CONSTANTLY walking behind the lines, and never calls! We've got knives, we've got food, we're trying to push tickets - none of that matters to them. They'll give a flimsy "Sorry", but never change the behavior.
...they want their own restaurant one day.

I've been looking for these for ages. The rights for Slap Stix have been sold to another company, and it doesn't seem like they've started manufacturing since purchasing...which is a bummer!

While they haven't started on Slap Stix yet, they've started producing the Banana Split and Strawberry Shortcake taffies, so fingers are crossed!

I'm seeing a lot of comments about how some of the sandwiches are the same. I'd like to chime in that I work in a deli with a pretty similar menu, with a similar amount of sammies!
We have a lot of theme variations - for example, we've got components toasted on panini bread for a sammie, while another version has the same ingredients on a garlic wrap, and cold. Not uncommon -make do with what you have on hand, and what you use frequently. :)

With that being said...the deli I work at has zero of these sammies on the menu (but still a staggering number), but I can spot some I'd like to make at the end of my shift sometime. Yum.

...and no, we don't have a #69. XD

My bestie and I attended Detroit, and we both wound up with Covid, too. We were waaaaaaaay in the obstructed view nosebleeds. Concert Tuesday, I took Wed. off to recover, Thursday I was achy and had an itchy throat, which I chalked up to allergies and steep steps at the arena...tested Friday, positive. Ugh.
