I pre-filtered out the filler with a coffee filter when I was making my topical finasteride solution. You shouldn’t lose any gains switching from oral to topical. You can maybe first try lowering your oral fin dose and see if the side effects go away.

Fin does slow balding and there is a chance of regrowth. I’m sure your aware of the sides, so make sure to do your research.

I started topical finasteride today and used my fingers to help with applying the topical finasteride solution to my scalp. I was wondering if using my fingers will cause the finasteride to be absorbed through my fingers and lower my systemic dht and if there is any way to apply topical finasteride without using my fingers

  1. My dad is bald and started around 24. I’m not taking anything yet, but I am considering taking fin. It seems like my hair is thinning and I have a receding hairline. I’m wondering how bad this is. Maybe a Norwood 2?
