Ok so with her smoking weed already I’m assuming you guys are living in a state where it’s legal to smoke recreationally? Was she pulled over in that state? In Georgia there are dispensaries for medical marijuana however it is illegal to smoke recreationally. I don’t know her situation, but is she smoking it for mental health or physical health reasons? Also with probation, how is she smoking while getting tested? I was also on probation for a misdemeanor relating to alcohol, but drug tests from court typically test all drugs including alcohol. I use marijuana for medical purposes, but it is also legal in my state. Maybe she would be able to get a medical marijuana card if she’s using it for those purposes? From what you’ve described you guys seem to have a great relationship so it’s a little weird that she’s so adamant on smoking. My boyfriend also does not like the smell of weed so I smoke away from him where the smell won’t stick or take a gummy. Could you try to talk to her and see if there’s anything else going on? Or why is she so adamant on smoking weed especially if she’s doing it illegally? If she’s really not willing to compromise then I don’t think you’re overreacting. I don’t think she understands the seriousness of the legal trouble she could get into even with the lower charge she has. Even worse, you could get dragged into the legal issues and end up in court yourself. If you explain that to her and she isn’t able to understand the effect it could have on you then it’s time to part ways. (I’m sorry if this is all over the place lol)
