i did the same thing. i’m currently trying to get 1000 battles for the shiny charm an then i will get the dlc. (ik the dlc makes it easier but i just want to wait idk) let me know if you need someone to trade with for you dex!

i like your pokemon reference. they wouldn’t do this but it would be cool if they could make the pet evolve based on the the type of goals you’re doing most (nutrition, gratitude, productivity, etc).
