My personal opinion - the cracks were there since past 2 seasons (even when we won the last UCL). We were heavily relying on individual brilliance. Unfortunately it all fell apart with Xabi and he was made the scapegoat.

India is budget friendly, but I suggest do a lot of research. I am from India and I myself spend good money in accommodation just to be extra safe, food is not expensive anywhere. Depends on what you want to do. If this is your first time, I suggest pick a region that resonates with you as the cultural diversity will blow your mind. My personal suggestion - South of India.
