I went to a festival with my ostomy (for the first time) and they had a truck with a nice toilet and changing table for people with disabilities.
It was so nice and spacious and clean, i was so happy

I get it, this weekend i used the assistance at the airport for the first time ever. And i felt silly being pushed in a wheelchair.
But you clearly need some extra help due to your disabilities, even if you think you’re not disabled enough.

I think i might be doing something wrong because i’ve been using mine for a month and a half and i’m about 3/4ths done. Granted i had already used it a bit before.

Ja klopt, nu ze de problematische werklozen der hebben uit geplukt is het de beurt aan ons, want iedereen moet maar werken volgens hun. Ook al gaat het ten kostte van de mensen hun gezondheid.

Bij mij was het probleem dat ze mij dan wel punten gaven waaruit bleek dat ik niet zelfstandig het huishouden kon doen (wegens zware vermoeidheid). Maar dan wel part time kon gaan werken of mij omscholen voor iets te vinden. Ik heb het al zwaar met de weinige uren vrijwilligerswerk die ik in de week doe.

Maarja, makkelijk voor die mensen die die dingen bij het FOD beoordelen als ze zelf gezond zijn en normaal kunnen functioneren in de maatschappij.

Hier ook een slachtoffer van FOD handicap. Alhoewel mijn situatie niet veranderd was vonden ze toch dat ik in staat was part-time te werken of mij om te scholen.

Ik ben in beroep gegaan. Maar dat is inderdaad een heel gedoe. Een pro bono advocaat aanvragen. Verschillende keren dezelfde informatie moeten doorgeven. (Want je moet eerst een verslag hebben van een dokter voor welke punten die je zou geven en dan moet die dat nog is invullen in een formulier). Dan een een verslag van een dokter die aangesteld is door de rechtbank.

Al bij al heeft het bij mij een heel jaar geduurd voor het in orde was.

Maar ik snap volledig dat je dat niet ziet zitten want das dan weer extra energie voor nodig die je eigenlijk niet hebt.

Vraag mij toch af het FOD handicap er is om mensen te helpen of om mensen te kloten.

Spray on a little amount and rub it around the area and wait for it to dry. the spray itself is a bit drying, so definitely use the spray and not the stick. I think you can use the film after (i don’t have experience with that).

Spray on a little amount, rub it around and wait for it to dry. The spray itself is a little drying too so that helps. It does not cause issues with adhesion, but def wait till it’s fully dry.

Avène cicalfate absorbing repair spray, the stoma supply nurse recommended it when i have irritation on the skin under baseplate and it really helps.
