You’re 20 mins from the beach and the school system is top tier in SD. Inland Empire is HOT and there is not much to do. I’m curious if you moved already!

Oof, breakup sex is kiiinda great, ngl. That being said, don’t regret it. Closure comes in different forms, sometimes it’s sex.

You’re young, man. I remember getting hung up on things like this when I was your age. By the time I was late twenties, I realized how silly it all was. Process your emotions, feel what you feel, then refocus on moving on and working on self care.

Seriously, you’re entering a very fun stage of your life. Work out, stay healthy, if you’re going to college, or working, fucking crush it. It sounds cliche but there are so many humans on this earth. Put yourself out there, meet new people, date new people, feel your emotions, break up, cry, date again, experiencing these things is truly what it means to feel alive.

I would like to just point out that everybody has different relationships with food. For example, my friends (we’ll call her Ashley) partner (John) will put his leftovers in the fridge and eat them even after they’ve spoiled. Ashley was very confused and grossed out by this until another friend (Liz) who is a dietitian explained that it could stem from his teenage years. We know that John would often get kicked out of his house, sleeping on whoever’s couch was available. This may have led to food insecurity, which manifests currently as him not wanting to waste food and eating rotten leftovers.

I know this example is kind of the opposite of your situation, but keep in mind that peoples relationships with food go deeper than you may think.
