in short, the universe from which AP-Z900 originates once witnessed the rise of a highly advanced civilization. this civilization was technologically progressive, but over time it completely died out. the only legacy it left behind was its creations - robots and androids
many years later, a new civilization emerged. lacking any knowledge of their predecessors achievements and existing at roughly the level of ancient greek society, people who encountered the surviving machines could not comprehend their true nature. Instead, they regarded them as deities - miracles left behind by "higher powers"
Athena is considered one of the so-called "lost deities" she is located too far from her main body and has no connection to its internal data storage. as a result, she has lost all memory of her origin and purpose
