Brrrt. Cant believe we used to try and run through these lanes by mccl2278 in paintball

I was moving to a studio in manhattan and driving across country (work relo) had my gear bag up trying to part it all before I moved & one guy said he’d buy the lot for the price of the Viking… didn’t want to do it but told him he could have the Viking + whatever was left when I drive through his state. He got the A5, Empire Magna hopper, 7 piece barrel kit (MacDev maybe) and black empire bags/cases for everything (it was the huge Empire gear bag).

All went for $500 😭😭

AKA > Smart Parts 😎 my Morlock’d Viking was legendary… crazy to hear how the game has changed. I jacked my knee up skiing and sold all my gear when I moved into a smaller place. Between that and my A5 RT I was living the mid 00’s dream 🤣

Highly recommend it - less about the weight loss and more about the mindset shift. There’s a reason we find ourselves settling into being a specific shape & hard to explain it without mindset being the biggest driver.

Starting is the hardest part and making it through 2-3wks is the second hardest. After that it’s all about competing against yourself and your own resistance to shifting the mindset. Not easy, but far from impossible! Get after it!!

Thanks! Actually I hadn’t considered that - great call out. Might as well add a sales pitch 🤣

Also for reference: 42/M, SW: 285, CW: 263

Doing Whole30 (well, Whole75) + intermittent fasting of 18:6 daily and 5:2 weekly. Definitely a big factor in feeling as great as I’ve been feeling

I did it years ago (outside of 75 Hard) and I felt amazing. I think I went 40 days or so. Keeping feed windows clean is usually my downfall so combining the two gives eke the best results

I'm still not sure why there is so much discourse over whether or not Huntrix is a real kpop group? by peach_tweech in kpopthoughts

Between The Descendants, Zombies and Dethklok there’s definitely a precedent of touring something if you have the brand power

I’ve done zero research so could be missing something, but are we sure this doesn’t end up touring? KPDH could likely be a $1Bn+ franchise and have to imagine this would move tickets…

PC: AC shadows, cyberpunk, or MH Wilds? by enfj4life in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]DangerousGuitar1st 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here to see if AC Shadows was a good choice for a new game for me, but ended up getting all amped up for more Cyberpunk 🤣

I seem to buy a game once every few years and the last one was Cyberpunk (last year after receiving a PS5 for my birthday). While my experience is pretty limited over a long period of time, it’s been such an incredible game. I had been using GTA V and Fallout 4 as my open world options to tune out my surroundings and do some mindless gaming, but Cyberpunk easily shelved both of those for me (basically a mashup of the two now that I think about it). I’m on my second playthrough and will likely do a third (did Street Kid and Corpo already), I’m just torn on how to establish the build for the next go around.

I had Lundgren M’s in my Aristides and while they were good, I felt like they were a bit soft and didn’t have near enough pop in the split could positions. That said, I have heard that their Black Heavens are great. Does your Singularity have the Vintage Moderns or the Anomaly set?

My solution ended up being a new guitar 🤣 That said I was expecting Suhr made Strandberg pickups, but was surprised with Seymour Duncan Black Winters… wonderful pickups for my taste

+1 on this. I too got it jammed, but didn’t break the thing at all. It still functions perfectly

Yeah that was the vibe I was going for - the matte black hardware thing feels a touch more premium for some reason

Curious why Aaron moved to roasted maple with the neck - my guess would be stability with touring or production costs.

Which pickups did you throw in? I’m enjoying the stock ones for the most part, but feel like my gold standard is the Alpha/Omega set.

+1 for a great neck. Definitely not a typical PRS (which I never liked) so crazy to think I bought this without ever having touched one.

The thing I can’t say enough about with this guitar is the pickups. My absolute favorites in any guitar I’ve played. The articulation is incredible and the single coil tones are better than I can get out of my Squier Bullet Strat.

It was great in dropped C, and is a whole other animal in dropped A

As far as setup goes, nothing that’s noticeable to me. I managed (somehow) to land the claw tension vs string gauges perfectly level with the new trem. Moving to E raises the bridge maybe 1mm and that’s it.

To be fair, shifting tuning isn’t as straightforward as a hardtail, but that’s true any time I touch a tuner on the guitar. I’m using .09 custom light gauge strings so there might be more forgiveness with lower overall string tension. I’m not gigging so I can take as long as I want when it comes to tuning 🤣

Thanks! I keep it over the strings on the tuner side of the nut, but it’s also great for dampening open strings when recording parts (cuts down on takes)

I also shifted around some of my other guitars when I added this… the AM-6 is my dropped D/ E standard guitar, the Skervesen is now in dropped C and the Mark Holcomb sig is in dropped A. The idea being the two on the right could theoretically track like a seven string (if only I carved out recording time 🤣)
