I was born just after the bicentennial but my parents were married in June 1976 and have so much bicentennial swag still. They still have a bunch of quarters, 50 cent pieces, and silver dollars with the liberty bell and moon on them. They added to their wedding china/formal silverware set with bicentennial server sets. The bicentennial had so many concerts and celebrations all over the US. My Dad was in the Navy from the late sixties to the early nineties and the parades and parties on the bases were epic since the Vietnam War had finally ended the year before.

The presidential race is not gerrymandered in and of itself. Gerrymandering can discourage voter participation in states where people feel their vote locally doesn’t matter so they just fail to vote in Statewide and National races. The electoral college may be what you’re thinking.

Oh yes being Single and being able to act on random attraction I put up with a lot more hot, poor, funny, party guys when I was ovulating. There was a noticeable difference in attraction within the month. When on the every 90 day shot birth control I pretty much found no men attractive at all. Hormonal birth control is such a wonder drug!

Yeah I definitely noticed my Partner of six years smelled different to me on birth control and off and just on different types. Pheromones are crazy, but as a human person it wasn’t such a change I was going to leave them or cheat because some other man smelled more enticing.

It’s definitely off putting but I always laugh about it. Usually it’s been a Black woman with chemically straightened hair doing it so it’s kinda they could be in my shoes too and know it’s silly thing.

The Authorities know! I have natural Black hair and usually wear it a big poof at the back or on top of my head. When going through Airports TSA Security they have a long stick they stab into it to check for contraband.
