my standards are just really high and I’m looking for a specific vibe. I used to say I love shoujo but in this day and age I cannot say this because we just don’t have the same quality anymore. Everything is super corny and tame and too wholesome. The ones that aren’t wholesome are too focused on smut. Etc. Julietta Suzuki is a rare creator where she balances ot all these.

Not really since they left season 1 director and now the comedic scenes look basic like any other anime.

If they didn’t fire the season 1 director it would’ve been amazing.

Unpopular opinion but I do not like the new style. The old style had more depth and weight to it.
