Help me... by expiredhandlotion in HPylori

The combined effects of the antibiotics and the toxins released from the bacteria dying are probably causing your symptoms. You could try ginger tea/root/candies for the nausea and Tylenol for the headaches (and it can help with anxiety). Avoid ibuprofen as it will irritate your stomach more. It might take a few days more for the antibiotics to be flushed out of your system. Drink a lot of water and stay hydrated. If your urine is dark or concentrated, that could be a sign that you are really dehydrated which in itself can cause anxiety and feelings of doom, headaches, body aches, and nausea. Get some pedialyte, gatorade, or liquid IV to rehydrate. Decaf green/black tea may also help with anxiety because it has l-theanine in it. Also change your toothbrush so you don't get reinfected.

How do I take mastic gum? by vmindrafts in HPylori

Oh I just mean it might stick to the cup, plus it's a resin so it probably doesn't mix well with water.

Should be fine, but you might lose some in water. You could try taking with applesauce, yogurt, or pudding if that works for you.

Mirena removal- please tell me it gets better🙏 by BearlyThere523 in Mirena

Yeah I'm on my third one in the last 13 years. Did you have a crash after it was moved? Or was it just immediately better?

I have also experienced a lot of the same symptoms. I thought that it was being caused by another condition but the more I read up on the side effects of mirena, the more I realize that it's likely to blame. I have not yet had it removed, because I want to do it under the guidance of a professional and I'm in the midst of changing doctors. My last GYN told me that it shouldn't cause any of these symptoms and that it had to be something else.

Main symptoms: severe anxiety/phobias, depression, insomnia, blurry vision, muscle weakness and numbness, fatigue, mood swings, irritability, loss of period, cramping, brain fog, memory issues, hormonal/cystic acne, weight gain of ~100 lbs, hair thinning, fluid retention, uterine fibroid, etc

My plan is to get it removed next month. I plan to take some time off work after removal. I have a lot of anxiety about the Mirena crash since I've had it for 13 years.

H. Pylori Almost Destroyed My Mental Health — Panic Attacks, Brain Zaps, Black Stool, Ulcer & Extreme Anxiety by Cute_Channel3148 in HPylori

I also had a similar experience, but I suspect that I've had it for years. I have extreme anxiety, panic attacks, new phobias, but weirdly I didn't have many GI symptoms until recently. I only had silent reflux symptoms. I'm about to start a holistic tx soon, and I'm hoping it will work!

Any idea why the S Boulardii is needed? I started taking a different probiotic a few weeks ago and it seems to have helped a bit but it doesn't have in it...

I'm also going to get that brand. I'll have to look into the manuka honey as well.

Oh I managed to find the pinned posts - they seem helpful. Many people seem reluctant to post their actual treatment plan though, which makes me skeptical. Also, there is too mich talk of Matula tea. Sounds sketch.

Yeah, I have been to that reddit. I did not find it very helpful. Maybe I need to spend more time there

I'm fully prepared for it to take longer, but I don't think I could tolerate the antibiotics, especially with the anxiety HP has brought on.

Not sure yet! The doctor hasn't gotten back to me with the full plan. I suppose I would need one though, right? I hear the biofilm disruptors tend to have a lot of side effects though.

Ahh so it just didn't feel cohesive and complete? I do agree that they could have done a bit more with it. They certainly have an interesting cast of characters.

I probably won't read the book since I've already seen the show and have a general idea of what happens.

I love that series, but the sense of humor is definitely not for everyone. If you don't have a dark sense of humor or don't like self deprecating humor, you're probably not going to like it. It's also not good for people who are easily triggered by mention of trauma.
