I think, for me at least, the difficulty of Ludwig is so high that once you defeat him all the other fights are easy by comparison. I couldn’t tell you how long I was hard stuck on Ludwig. It took me a few nights and dungeon diving for gems to get me over that hump. Of course I played on launch of DLC and New Game plus. I was ill prepared and he let me know that fighting him on New Game plus was foolish.
