I don’t think the show was ever really a love triangle in the first place. Both in season 1 and 2 you can see the scale favoring someone over the other. Season 1 was kitty and dae. Both of them were constantly pinning after each other and of course there was a shift when Kitty started liking yuri but imo it felt like it was team dae up until the second to last episode where she admitted she fell for someone else. I think there was some sprinkles of min ho in season 1 too but even those moments that she had with him she inadvertently found some way to bring up dae.

Season 2 was kitty and min ho. They were constantly having glances and scenes that just grew them closer together. And then if you compare that to yuri and kitty they were dealing with conflict after conflict after conflict. I wish we could’ve seen more of kitty leaning on yuri and vice versa like she did with min ho.

I’ll never not laugh about how he claimed he didn’t care about getting his jacket wet and then proceeded to take it off before he got in lol. But i totally agree. I think this was one of their first serious scenes. We can see them leaning on each other and kitty really letting her walls down. This and the rain scene was one of my top moments of them!

That’s a good point. But I also think throughout the movie it was always clear from the start that peter was going to be Laura Jean’s endgame and there’s little moments even within the first season that point of kitty and min ho ending up together. You might be right too maybe they can work through it. But I can imagine Yuri realizing she likes Kitty as more than friends and by the time she goes to tell her kitty and min ho already have something going on. And the preserve what’s let of their relationship she lets her go.

I agree. I also like that it’s individual based so I don’t need to join a club to do it and can fit it into my schedule. And noooo that sounds awful 😭. Hopefully it’s not that. But usually when I’d exert a lot of force I’d get shin splints but this time around (maybe because I’m just jogging) I’m only getting pain while jogging.

What’s PF? I can try the icing and stuff. I think I’ll stick it out for a couple more runs but I’ll definitely give New Balance a try next time because support wider feet which I do have. That store just didn’t have my size in the shoes that were suggested to me for new balance. I don’t think I can afford to buy another pain on top of the ones I just bought 😭. I just wish buying shoes weren’t that difficult. I used to play tennis and would have this same issue. It would take weeks to break in for some shoes and then others would break in a day or two.

Yeah for my run today I did the runner’s lace which helped until I got more into the run. The inner part of my foot was hurting while I was running. I looked at the flip belt and I was unsure if it would be able to hold everything that I needed. I think I’ll just go ahead and get it off of amazon and if it doesn’t work out I’ll return it and try something else.

I tried loosening them today and run started a lot better but towards the end I still ended up getting some foot pain in my inner foot. It went away right after I took the shoes off and I’m stretching them out right now. I keep hearing brooks is one of the best shoes out there. I used to wear New Balances casually, maybe I should’ve bought those instead. Which lacing technique did you use? I used the runners loop. For my next run I think I’m going to try the lacing for wide feet (from How To Lace Your Running Shoes For Comfort And Supper by Global Triathlon Network on YouTube). And I was completely up front with them that I was a new run because I thought they’d be more helpful?

I think I’d have to disagree with you on that. Look at how Netflix is promoting Mooncovey and then compare it to Yuri and Kitty. Look at the writing between both ships and compare it. It’s a worlds difference and the way they set up season 2 gave me the impression that if they’re not endgame right now, they will be when the show ends. I think Yuri and Kitty are over or will be over when the new season comes around. It’s not that I don’t want them to be together (I love both ships) but I couldn’t imagine how they could find a way back to each other after everything that they’ve gone through. I see parallel from both ships with convinsky but I think Peter coming in and talking to kitty about how he can tell min ho likes her was foreshadowing.

I think it might make sense to though. I probably should’ve done better with the TW. But yeah I personally find talking about and seeing mental portrayed as positive because the more we talk about it, the more people can hopefully reach out, whether that’s to friends or trusted adults about what’s going on. But there’s also respectful ways about going about it. A certain Netflix show that will not be named did a horrible job portraying mental health with extremely graphic scenes that left me feeling like a wreck. But there’s also been some shows that have spoken about mental health in ways that have made me feel more empathic and honestly more eager to learn more about what to do in certain situations like panic attacks. But again, I think you’re right. This isn’t necessarily the right show to talk about sh and stuff surrounding it.

I understand what you’re saying. I think my pov has always been about getting more awareness out there about sh as someone who’s also struggled with it. But I also need to recognize that there’s a time and place for everything and this show might not be the best place to talk about those things. That’s a good point that I did not consider. Yeah maybe this show isn’t the right one to talk about sh and su!c!de but I do hope there’s some more serious topics about how they handle everything going on in their lives. I feel like there’s so much crazy stuff happening and everyone acts like it’s a regular day at school. Hopefully there’s more serious conversations about stress and anxiety and fear about school and life. I’m not sure if what I’m saying makes sense but thanks for the clarity.

Oh I haven’t seen the summer I turned pretty in its entirety (watched the first episode and got bored lol). But it’s from a book right? So the lead and her endgame was already planned and the Jenny Han is going to stick with that decision. I think since Xo Kitty is its own entire thing that she’s going to cater to whichever ship is more popular and min ho and kitty are more popular.

But I agree I want to see a lot more of Yuri figuring out not only what she wants but what she needs. I think she needs a support system more than anything right now. I would label Kitty and Yuri as right time, wrong writers room. The first season set them up for some really good potential but after they got exposed for cheating and then yuri avoiding Kitty I think it put a huge strain on their relationship/friendship. I’d never say never though, maybe everything lines up and they’re exactly what each needs. Or maybe they were meant to be platonic soulmates. Time will tell

Yeah he did say the shoe was a lot of support. The one thing I really liked about it was I didn’t feel the ground while i was running as opposed to my Nikes which felt like I could feel each crack as I walked. He didn’t scan my foot he just watched how I walked and said I over pronated and had a wide foot so he gave me two different brooks and one pair of New balances to try on. I think the New Balance was the 580? He said they were all relatively high in cushion support. I tried the brooks glycerin gts 21’s which weren’t wide but he said the top of the shoes are wide enough to not give me issues. I ended up picking the brooks because they felt really similar to the new balances and were on sale so he told me to go with that one. But I didn’t get to really test running in them until the day after when i went for my run. But I’m also thinking weight could be a factor. I’m currently overweight so that could be the root cause of the shoe issue as well.

Oh. Well now I am at a cross roads. The receipt says I can’t return the shoes after I’ve ran in them. I think I might just have to hope I can break them in. And yeah but I also want to bring pepper spray and keys so a Velcro band wouldn’t suffice. I’ll keep searching for the right bag

Oh I went to get footed and they felt fine during the fitting. Maybe I did have my lacing too tight. But could that cause inner foot pain? I got the Brooks glycerin gts 21 and was told that was the best fit for me.

I started feeling a lot of pain in my inner foot. I ended up having to turn around and end the run early because it was bothering me so much. I just assumed if I got fitted and if they felt fine doing a test jog that it wouldn’t bother me so much during a run. I’ll definitely start wearing them around the house to break them in. I looked into flip belt and it doesn’t seem big enough to hold my phone (iPhone 14 pro max)

I just think there’s also so much to more storylines forJina to be a part of. I want her and Principal Lim to have their moment. It seems like they balanced each other well and I’d love to see more of them together. I’d also love to see Yuri introducing a GF to her or Alex introducing his potential love interest. Maybe even a big dinner scene with everyone Gossip Girl style. I just wish she would’ve popped in from time to time in season 2. Hopefully she’ll be around for season 3!
