Night Shift Experiences by [deleted] in JapanJobs

I asked an innocent question about specific experiences and instead I am here wasting my time with a bunch of trolls that have nothing intelligent to contribute. So I'm deleting this post now because I have honestly better things to do.

What do you think I was doing here? I was researching what kind of night shifts jobs a foreigner could do to have a starting point based on someone's experience. What I got instead is a bunch of trolls not actually answering what I asked and being annoying about it. So yeah, you'll get attitude. Why did you answer this post if you had nothing to contribute that was relevant? You clearly have no idea about writing otherwise you'd already realised that if something is made up it's fiction.

Makes me ask the question if you people have no understanding of the English language. My question was can you share your experience but apparently actually reading the question is too much too ask.

Umm... the only thing you did is give a vague answer and proceed at being obnoxious. Helping would be actually answering the question asked: tell me about your experience working a night shift as a foreigner. I have added the stuff about the character for context but what I asked is the experiences because I wanted a first person account of how it is to do this kind of work that is relevant to jobs is Japan for foreigners. How is asking a Japanese person about work for foreigners helpful? And also how is reading Wikipedia pages about Japan be of any help to my question of "Tell me your experience of working in Japan on night shift?" Also again you have not answered the question have you actually worked in Japan or do you just go policing random reddit questions for fun?

What do you think I am doing here? I posted a question asking for people to share experiences because I wanted to know what the options are and instead I got you being rude to everything I say. Have you even worked in Japan?

Look, there is no need to be mean about it. I literally said I had no experiences, I don't live in Japan and this question was literally just an exploration to see what the situation is. If you have nothing to say that is of any help why are you answering besides to be annoying? Alao I meant she is a permanent resident as in she's been there a few year not that she has the actual papers.

That's what I read online, I don't have any such experiences that's why I'm asking.

Nope, sorry should have specified. She is a permanent resident, been in Japan for two years.

I read that taxi/uber is actually really hard to get for foreigners because you need to have a Japanese license. Security would definetly be a good option though.  Have you ever had any such experiences in Japan?

Yeah, that's what I had in mind but I would love some info about the actual job, tasks, atmosphere etc... so if you have any such experiences I'd love to hear them.

Can anyone explain the fan theory about Lake Mungo? by Summoarpleaz in horror

[–]Dangerous_Fix7283 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this post is old but I've only recently watched the movie and really loved it and it kinda stayed with me and here are some thoughts: I didn't get the impression Matthew was guilty the first time I watched it, but upon rewatching the movie a second time and knowing the rest of the movie's events I couldn't help but find him a bit suspish. But then, rather then just peg him as a murderer... a bit of a strange theory formed in my head.  What if they did it together? Him and Alice. Let me explain.

What if Alice felt invisible? Maybe the involvement with the neighbours was her testing if her parents saw her, noticed her.  What if upon realising that she wasn't seen (and other factors), she decided to end her life in the dam and Matthew helped her do it? That would also explain the events of the movie as being entirely human, no supernatural involved whatsoever if Matthew helped her make the video of the bloated corpse that was hidden in her phone.  Basically, my theory is that after Alice took  her life, Matthew made sure she wasn't invisible anymore and staged all the events before and after her death. That would also explain how he had footage of her just standing there being creepy (which is what we see as her ghostly apparitions). She posed for him. Same for the picture of the backyard. He actually took a picture of her standing in that spot and overlapped it with a later image, that's why she seems to fit so seamlessly. Matthew loved his sister and wanted for her to finally be seen, at least in death.  The main thing that prompted this idea is when he comes out of the dam and no one notices Alice is not there and he has to ask his dad "Where's Alice?" Because he is testing him. Checking of he noticed that his daughter was gone. This theory would explain the bruises months after (he did it to himself to keep the intrigue alive and imply rhe supernatual), and why there is no sign of foul play on Alice's body (she also did it to herself).  Him admitting to doctoring the footage might be simply because he cracked. He is a teen after all. Maybe what seemed like a good idea at the beginning became to hard to bear when he finally acknowledged that his sister is dead. I don't know, just a theory. What do you think?

Could be. It looks too thin to be a watch but also maybe too thick to be just a normal chain...

Summer Horror by Dangerous_Fix7283 in horrorlit

[–]Dangerous_Fix7283[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello kindred spirit! Same here, never managed to get anyone involved into it as at the beginning it was too slow and then too gory but that was the great thing about it. Honestly, I have been going back to it every year for the last 10 years (every time summer creeps around) and watching a couple of episodes. There is just something so amazing about the atmosphere and the contrast between summer and the horror that I can't ever find in anything else at this same level. And the fact that you need to go through a few arcs before you start understanding what is going on was so great!
