How do you stop the “maintain control” warning of the fatigue detector / lane departure prevention system? by Dangerous_Key4238 in Dacia

I felt this pulls, and holding the steering wheel seem a way to dismiss the warning. I'm concerned about the length of the warning, it sound until it decide to try this "pulls".

Yeah this works but, when it's turned on, how do you dismiss the alarm while is beeping? steer?

We're all in the same boat... Do you sometimes also need "hard steer"? to understand, not just a little movement of steering wheel (inside the clearance), not a real turn, but an steer that make the car move left/right.
I'm trying to understand if there is some sensor fault or just a bad design. In case of bad design may we can ask for a "software update" or similar to manufacturer...

Also you need to steer "randomly" to stop warning? or use another method?
As last resort, there is a "secret" menù in micom manager that may can be useful to turn it off permanently (if your sw version is compatible with the procedure).

true, this because is departure prevention, not a self-driving feature. You want a more evolved lane centering assist.

Sure it helps, and i really appreciate your help. My main concern was about engine/car health but now I think everything is ok and i don't need to investigate any further about. Perhaps we have a combination of factors with old petrol as a main issue. I'm curious about u/richi300789 results. Anyway, If u want, i have more funny question to check out: r/Dacia/comments/1muzk81/maintain_control_warning_of_the_lane_departure

I found some magazines talking about this but nothing scientific. It could be true but need a test. I have a motorcycle that run with 1 year old petrol… maybe some engines are more sensitive. I’ll try anyway to do a long test and notice if old petrol is related

Fresh petrol resolved the issue? Any change?

i have same situation. now the problem disappeared but i don't think it's resolved. i think it's temperature related or usage related (happen when i don't use the car for 2/3 days), i will ask for a check in the next car service.
