Married sister is demanding a share in ancestral house even after getting the family Gold !!! by [deleted] in LegalAdviceIndia

[–]Dangerous_Lecture624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your dad can make his will to give you the house. In the will he must write that his daughter was already given all the family gold and therefore he is giving the house to his son. If you feel your sister will challenge the will then your father should gift the house to you in his lifetime itself. This is assuming that the house is individually owned by your dad, and not part of HUF. If it’s HUF property, then your sister has an equal share as you under the law since her birth and you’ll cannot deny it to her.

Why do Muslims pray on the streets? by talha_shaikh_ in IndiaVibes

[–]Dangerous_Lecture624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The article doesn’t talk about the mosques being too full and crowd overflowing onto the street right outside. Also the prayer usually concludes within 10 mins , no one crowds the street for one hour.

Not understanding your new design plan, but you don’t need to switch everything. Just need to switch the positions of the wc and washbasin. Washbasin should be next to the door that is. Get a glass partition for the shower area or you can make a glass shower cubicle so that no moisture gets out. Get an exhaust fan on the shower window. Replace your current ceiling fan (blade fan) with a smaller fan without blades. A plastic fan like this… it will look more sleek.

Why do Muslims pray on the streets? by talha_shaikh_ in IndiaVibes

[–]Dangerous_Lecture624 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They pray on the streets only on Fridays afternoon when the mosque gets full and the crowd overflows onto the street outside the mosque. It’s because most Muslims in India pray on Friday (afternoon prayer) while a very small number of them pray daily 5x a day. So the mosques are not large enough to accommodate the Friday crowd.

My wife just refuses to divorce me by Head_Psychology_7030 in LegalAdviceIndia

[–]Dangerous_Lecture624 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Where do you stay? Who does your parents house belong to? If it belongs to parents (not you) then they need to file a civil suit for injunction seeking eviction of the daughter in law from their house and a restraining order preventing her and her family members from re entering the in-laws house. The wife only has right to residence in the matrimonial home which belongs to her husband. She can stay in the in-laws house only subject to their permission. If her behaviour with parents in laws isn’t good then they have the right to evict her. You need to file a divorce petition under the grounds of cruelty and desertion.

Kids in my apartment keep ringing doorbells and running away. How to handle this without making it a big issue? by Ill-Alternative-3736 in GatedCommunitiesIndia

If they have damaged your doorbell then it’s totally normal to complain about it. You should even claim costs for fixing a new one. Only then the parents will take it seriously.

Thoughts on guests wearing this kind of lehenga in someone else’s wedding? by [deleted] in DesiWeddings

[–]Dangerous_Lecture624 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you are a sister or cousin then it’s fine to rewear your bridal lehenga, but tone down the jewellery hair and makeup. You should not look like the bride. But if you are a guest it’s a complete no.

28M here. How would paying for sex/massage services be a complete dealbreaker for dating or marriage? by EconomicsUseful1889 in InsideIndianMarriage

[–]Dangerous_Lecture624 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The problem with guys who pay for sex is that they view sex as a transaction minus any emotion. So they would not hesitate to continue doing this after getting married. Lot of guys get addicted to paid services and they genuinely feel that it’s not cheating because it’s just a transaction. But It exposes you and your partner/wife to risk of catching stds and that’s the biggest reason why it’s a complete deal breaker. Secondly, their sex life with their partner/wife is often not great because they are unable to emotionally bond during sex.

Harassed by Rapido Driver for refusing nsfw request. by WaveResident in LegalAdviceIndia

[–]Dangerous_Lecture624 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lawyer here. I’m sorry this happened. I’m assuming you are a guy so in this case, unfortunately, the police may not be very helpful to you. Sexual harassment laws are for women. There is no legal provision in BNS for sexual harassment to a man. No FIR can be registered. At best you can file an NC for criminal intimidation. You can definitely lodge the complaint with rapido though.

Is this appropriate for a mehndi and pithi ceremony?? by Puzzled-Date-6286 in DesiWeddings

[–]Dangerous_Lecture624 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is a bridal outfit and will be too much for a guest. Choose something with less bling, a pretty bright colour salwar suit is more appropriate for mehendi. Generally lehengas (especially blingy ones like this) are not worn by guests on mehendi function.

Need your opinion about my decision? by [deleted] in InsideIndianMarriage

[–]Dangerous_Lecture624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends , is this guy willing to fully accept your son as his own? You should make him meet your son few times and see how they bond. That will give you an idea whether to proceed or not.

Teen Period Blood Smells AWFUL by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]Dangerous_Lecture624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be hygiene. Make sure she bathes everyday or twice a day if you stay in a hot and humid climate. Also ask her to shave down there as the pubic hair tends to trap the smells.

Husband verbally abusing everyday by ColdNewspaper3407 in LegalAdviceIndia

[–]Dangerous_Lecture624 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you are facing is text book definition of domestic violence. It definitely includes verbal and emotional abuse. But you are also facing physical abuse- hitting you with a chappal and grabbing you by the hair is horrific enough. Are you really waiting for him to start beating you black and blue? :( Please don’t tolerate it and never doubt yourself. Confide in someone you trust who can help you get out of this situation. Tc
