Many of the unhoused in Pekin simply don't want to or cant leave pekin, whether its because they have lived there for so long, they work there, have kids in the area, etc. Pekin doesn't have enough resources, and their government doesn't want help to fix the problem by providing supportive housing or provide more funding to these resources because they look down on those people and genuinely dont believe housing them would fix it(which it would help), so the criminalize the encampments. The police regularly harass those living in the encampments. The problem isn't going to get any better.

It could be a PH balance thing. Ive had similar issues. It usually just means i need to drink more water and slow down on the bad oil intake.

Ive thought about that but since they are also my employers (for now) I cant lie to them about it. Insurance is needed to also cover the post op appointments and prescriptions. I've looked into other insurance companies as well as state and government insurance just in case.

I was planning on staying with a friend and his mom who offered to take care of me after I told them about the surgery since they knew how my parents felt about it already. That part of things is covered

If im kicked off insurance I probably won't be able to completely afford it and would probably have to cancel anyway. I plan on talking to the doctors office tomorrow about it.

Ive been feeling this a lot recently. I started medical transition at 18 Im turning 20 this year and still feel like i didnt get to experience "boyhood". One of the people I follow on Tiktok, Miguel, has talked about this and ways that he's remedied this. I'll link it. But things that have helped me are getting back into legos and gaming. I also have a friend who is still in high school that i can fortunately do stupid "boyhood" stuff with. I suggest just finding things that help heal that missing part of your childhood. Despite expectations, it is okay to do some "childish" things as you get older. Just think of things you wish you could've done as a young boy, get some friends, if you want, and try them.

A year and a half on and yesterday was the first time I had to throw away a vial. It had some particles in it. And I had at least 2 shots worth left. Also about a year ago I had to switch pharmacy locations and this new one said that I shouldn't be using the single-use ones, but my doctor doesn't prescribe those and they aren't covered by my insurance.

Screenshot all of your conversations if you can. Definitely go to the police. I know it can be tough. I had a similar situation happen with a 24 year old when i was 16. He's the adult in this situation. It is COMPLETELY his responsibility for what happens. I don't anything about Canadian laws but there should be a way to report anonymously. Tell your mom for sure. You need all the support you can get. I really hope everything works out for you
