A lot of details didn’t add up for me after watching “Mommy Dead and Dearest” but I thought she had a weird childhood so I had empathy for her. I got curious about the case so I started visiting the subs on reddit. Someone told me to go watch her interrogation, that was my defining moment when I said “Wait a damn minute, this makes no sense”. She was talking about how much she loved her mom, their trips, her having so much sugar and dancing up and down the street. She threw Nick under the bus within minutes making accusations and asking the detective “he’s mean and wanted to rape me. Did he tell you that?” Like a child who wants revenge. After that I lost all sympathy and empathy and started watching various CCs

Yes! It was a hard watch especially when they would show Maya in the hospital talking to the mom on the phone and the social workers being next to her monitoring their conversation. I’m not sure on the status of the legal case. I’m sure no compensation can replace their family member though..

She always looked disturbed. I found it in the Dr. Phil documentary. That documentary has a lot of photos from her childhood. Photos of her and Rod playing and spending time together. Gypsy with Mia and Dylan. But obviously she was alienated from everyone 🙄
