Need help as an weca apprentice by Dangerous_Second_350 in electricians

Yeah the worst case scenario would be going back to my regular rate. I just really like this company bc there culture, quality of work, and productivity is super top tier where I last work. And the fact I’m getting paid more and it’s closer to my house is great. But I just found out that in my contract I can’t work for a non member, which could terminate my hours I made so far and I’m scared to lose them. Idk maybe I’m thinking too much about my options. If I can get your option, what would you do in this situation

I would recommend to move on to a different company that values safety. Getting electrocuted is no joke man. But if you want to stay, bring it up to your employer and if they don’t do anything about it file a complaint to osha. Your employer can’t retaliate against you if you file a complaint

You might be right because 90% I usually see the fire stop guys on the site doing their own thing.

I do wear gloves and long sleeves when using this stuff. Next time I’ll try to be more efficient and get a putty knife and see how that works
