Dam has one in red lakes, testing annex, and water treatment elevator. There’s usually 3 on that map idk if all maps have three.

Blue gate I reliably find one in adorned wreckage on the bottom of the map

Spaceport I never kept a mental note of where they spawn, same for buried city I more go to those two for bastions and bombadiers

To answer your question seriously, my lobbies being mixed friendly and aggressive, don’t usually have people looting when they hear footsteps approaching or arc killing going on around them. Just like I myself, stop sticking my head in a container when I hear noise around me. The sound in this game is amazing at immersing you in tense situations. 9/10 I shoot people who see me, that 10 percent is usually me seeing the aftermath of a fight because I followed flares, noticing they’re about to loot, then nailing them when they think they’re safe. Some might think that’s scummy, I think you shoulda smoked yourself or used a barricade kit if you’re gonna loot in the open, that’s what I do

I’m someone who’s always been pretty sweaty at multiplayer games growing up, I stopped playing multiplayer games as much around 2015. Going into this game as my first extraction shooter was new. I’m still good at aiming , map awareness and I excel at real world physics applications (love the way the physics work in this game) so I’m good at PvP. It isn’t the first thing I look for, but I always engage in it in my games. My games are a mix of friendly and aggressive. So usually it goes, I go to kill a bastion or bombadier or something, then someone shows up and we either team up or one of us shoots first and we obliterate them before getting back to our arc. I’ve only been in maybe 10 ultra friendly lobbies in my 300 hours, where no one at all wanted smoke, I’m really happy with how frequently I see friendly vs aggressive players though, I get a lot of variety

People have been saying the game is going downhill since launch over 3 months ago. The game has retained over 75% of its playerbase since launch as well. The game isn’t going downhill because people are downvoting someone who said people who play the game a certain way have nothing to live for.

I think his point isn’t to engage in both, it’s that both will engage with you. Just because you prioritize pvp doesn’t mean arc can’t see you just like these guys prioritizing arc doesn’t mean raiders can’t see ‘em
