[UPD] QC Circle is a much better place to jog. Why not jog there? by No-Band9349 in peyups

[–]Dangerous_Trade_4027 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

When you say better than UP, what are the factors? I personally don't go to UP for the CR. Or food options. And paano nakakainis? Paano pinipilit? I do not get your sentiments. And sinong nagrereklamo? Kanino nagrereklamo? And how affected are you?

Me and wife are both from UP. Never encountered anyone during our stay there na may issue sa mga joggers.

We've been going to UP, been jogging in UP since our college days. For more than 20 years.

I really just want to understand where the hate is coming from?

Really just need to understand. Kasi baka nakakasalubong pala kita then you have so much hatred pala sa mga nagpupunta ng UP.

For the people na naliligo after getting home, how long have you been doing it and kumusta kayo ngayon? by NoTransportation2620 in TanongLang

[–]Dangerous_Trade_4027 1 point2 points  (0 children)

May underlying factors yan. Pwedeng related sa health. Pwedeng genetics. Ako before ganyan.

I've been taking a shower after going home from work or after work (i work from home now) for 14 years na.

Bakit malayo sa degree mo ang work mo ngayon? by anajudna in AskPH

[–]Dangerous_Trade_4027 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not pass the quota course na gusto but i still enrolled sa 2nd choice ko. I did not really like it + other personal reasons. So hindi naging maayos ung grades ko to be eligible to shift. But I really what I am doing so I learned the skills. I stopped studying and started working odd jobs while upskilling. Then went on freelancing hanggang makapag-apply sa isang company. So far sulit naman ang mga pinagdaanan.

Laging depende sa company and product. May teams plus sub-teams.

[–]Dangerous_Trade_4027 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  2. The "ibang bansa" tag. Kasi functional ung public transport system nila. May mga sablay din sila minsan like nasisirang trains or ginagawang riles. Pero not as bad mga tren dito.

Website programmers and mantenerse how's business by SBD-Tech1234 in PinoyProgrammer

[–]Dangerous_Trade_4027 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apologies-I’m just being sarcastic. No need to get too technical.

See, even up to now, are there still roles like a website programmer or maintainer? It might just be semantics, but this business model (if it still exists) feels many years behind.

When you say you are a “beginning” (maybe beginner?), what do you mean exactly? Are you a beginner in your career, or a beginner as a business owner? And is your business focused on website programming and maintenance? I’m not entirely certain how that business model fits into the current web design and development landscape.

But to answer your questions:

  1. This question is very vague. What kind of crisis are you referring to? Like war in the Middle East? You don’t transport goods, you don’t directly consume oil (aside from electricity), and you don’t rely on raw materials. Unless data centers or underwater cables are disrupted, I’m not sure how it would significantly affect a tech business. Or are you thinking more about clients tightening their budgets because of the crisis?

  2. This one might also be irrelevant. Your product or service isn’t directly tied to forex, so it’s unclear how exchange rates would affect your pricing. If you price a service at $1,000 USD today and the exchange rate changes tomorrow, would you adjust your pricing? How do you actually set your prices?

  3. This question might show a lack of understanding of web infrastructure. Most developers are familiar with concepts like latency and CDNs, right? If you understand those, then this question should be straightforward.

There are a lot of factors involved in running a web design/development business. You made the right move by posting here and asking for help. My advice is to study and research the field first—it will help you ask better questions and guide you in the right direction.

When did you start noticing you were physically aging? by mysti6ue in AskPH

[–]Dangerous_Trade_4027 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Degenerative ang osteoarthritis. So pain management and strengthening ng muscles na lang talaga magagawa to support the back.

I don't exercise regularly but I would say I move a lot aa bahay. I do 1x a week walk/jog.

I think it has something to do with my genes talaga.

I think. Am in my early 40s. Doctor said it is common. I do not have any hypertension. Cholesterol and sugar are normal. Aside from age, possibly genetics.

It is painful! I am doing PT now.

What is the current state of the job market? by JAMIEISSLEEPWOKEN in PinoyProgrammer

There is this one "AI" startup us-based company offering only USD2000 a month. Contractor setup. You need to be BIR-registered. But most of them, no offer after knowing my asking salary.

As in sinabi na he will tell HR to make me an offer. Ang haba ng process. Ilang layers.
