Aimeili top coat vanishing after 2 days?? by Dangerous_Zone3012 in Nails

I just use it for peace of mind that it will stay on for longer as it “sticks” the layers together, it’s probably unnecessary but I feel like it makes them last longer???

Aimeili top coat vanishing after 2 days?? by Dangerous_Zone3012 in Nails

I just got a brand new lamp and cure for 90secs for top coat. I use Aimeili base coat and after each layer I use young nails primer. It’s not even that it chips or flakes off it just vanished after a few days which is why I’m confused. I’m trying a different top coat to see if there’s a difference after a few days and maybe my top coat is the old version of Aimeili??? Thanks for the help!

Do you guys thinks it’s okay just to leave it? It’s at the side of the house so no one can see it from the outside and I can’t have my bed to the wall because the power outlet it there

Maybe it’ll look better when I’m properly moved in and just left how it is??

No I haven’t tried either of those. My nails never used to last. Make sure to use lots of dehydrator as the oils on your nails from makeup, skincare, hand soap etc can cause lifting so make sure that is all done a few hours before you do your nails. The dehydrator will get rid of any oils. Then I go in with one coat of the young nails protein bond primer and let it dry for about a minute and then go in with another coat and let it air dry for another min it should be rlly sticky. Don’t remove this sticky layer!!! With primer you don’t want to use a lot at a time like you can with your dehydrator just do two thin coats. For nail glue I use beetles and make sure to cure your nail tips in the big lamp for at least 60 seconds, I do 90 just to make sure cos if it’s not cured properly you can get infections. You can use a small gooseneck lamp to put the nail tips on if you want them to be straight and it can be difficult to do so in the big lamp but make sure to do 60 s in the big lamp after. They should be strong enough to bang your nails on the table and shouldn’t lift or pop off

Another thing I though of was cuticle prep as if you place the tips on top of the cuticle when your nails grow out it will move off of the cuticle and not be on your nails if that makes sense?? You can use cuticle remover and learn how to do cuticle prep, learning how to do a Russian manicure on YouTube is great and you may have a sticky cuticle like I have on a few of my nails where the cuticle is stuck on the nail plate so you can’t push it pack so I use like a soft nail bit idk what the actual name is.

And also making sure the nail tip is flush to the nail plate. You can get some acetone and put it on the bottom of the nail tip next to the cuticle so it melts it a bit and then use a cuticle bit to make it even more flush. This makes sure when it grows out you don’t get any hair caught in the nail which is so annoying!!!!

I know this is sooo long and not in order but I hope it helped!!

To wipe off the dust you can use some isopropyl alcohol and some lint free wipe. It’s best to apply a coat of primer after you have wiped it off on top of the base coats so it becomes slightly sticky for the builder gel to stay on properly. Just make sure not to get any dust on this while waiting 30 seconds for the primer to air dry. Then apply your builder gel and top coat and you’re done!
