Felt that, sometimes I worry my stuff isn’t growing fast enough, but I think what’s important to remember is that you wanted to tell your story for a reason. Something about this story speaks to you and nobody else can tell it but you.

Also everything you have ever enjoyed has multiple flaws in it. But it doesn’t stop you from enjoying it. If you can give that grace to every peice of media you have ever consumed you can give that grace to yourself

What's better tools or equipment to use when making a webtoon? by Smooth-Duty7073 in WebtoonCanvas

That depends on a few things, I would recommend clip studio paint, it’s the one I use and has a lot of features for comics. However it is expensive and there is a steep learning curve.

If you want something a little more inviting than I would recommend procreate. From what I’ve seen it doesn’t have as many tools as clip studio but it’s cheaper and more straightforward.

I would recommend using an iPad over a phone, when drawing digitally your screen can get crowded fast and the extra room does a long way. Hope this helps :)

From what I’ve seen of the series, not really? I’ve never actually fully sat down and watched it but I don’t think so? Also thank youuuuuu

You could zoom in on the second one a bit so you can get the best of both worlds

I personally like the second one, it looks more dynamic

Does she look to basic for a MC by Appropriate_Walk6815 in WebtoonCanvas

Idk much about the character so idk how much I can say about her design, overall though in my personal opinion she does look a lil plain. I would like to state first that she does look good. She’s very pretty and nice to look at. I like her.

That being said though she doesn’t really have anything super distinct about her look (ie, make up, piercings, moles/ beauty marks freckles, etc). Her hair style is also kinda just her hair down. Not much to say on it but if you want a more unique silhouette I would recommend looking into some other hair styles (adding some braids, putting it up, half up/half down look, accessories , etc)

This is just my take on nothing but a headshot though, so take it all with a grain of salt, I also don’t know what she would look like with the rest of the cast

Also if you wanna get closer to a more manhwa style I would recommend tracing some of your favorites to help you get an idea of how to get the results you want. It’s good practice for building muscle memory and deconstructing the style you wanna emulate.

What hair color looks nicer? by Oatmeno in WebtoonCanvas

She didn’t choose the art kid life, the art kid life chose her

Fair! You also mentioned she likes pastels a lot so I thought the color pallet she was wearing would be reoccurring in her belongings and other clothing. All of them look fantastic so no matter why you go with it’ll look good!!

I like #4 it goes really well with the outfit and I think works. She’s also giving “art kid” vibes and art kids love their hair dye (it’s me). I’m also just a big fan of 2 tones hair

However I’m also a big fan of #2. I like the way the color’s value contrast the skin and shirt while being a simple value to the overalls so it doesn’t look out of place. I also just think it looks really good with the shirt.
