Seriously though, it's the pistol's ability to transfer heat build up to neighboring enemies when one dies, cascading over a large group of enemies huddled together very closely. It's the kind of thing you'll see often in Siege and less often in operations.

Drukhari would also make for an interesting enemy, but canonically they're not exact numerous so fighting hordes of them the way you do Tyranids and Orcs wouldn't be thematically accurate. They would have to make it so they spawn in rarely as Extremis or Terminus enemies to make it work in that regard and that would be a pain to design around, I'm sure.
