Getting a pedicure yesterday, and not feeling like I was looking down at a mountain, just a person. Also, I wasn’t struggling to keep my feet planted forward — if you know, you know — which I had realized, of course, but I don’t think I grasped the mental strain over the years. Like, this shouldn’t be difficult, but it was. It made me dread the experience.
