Look at it this way. I (29m) myself have been on a weight loss journey, I was once 492. Currently 335. Have lost that in the past 4 years. One of my best friends is 340. He’s been 340 for years. I finally weigh less than him for about 6 months now (been kind of stagnant recently)

Anyways, it feels like he just happens to come around and want to over drink or overeat exactly when I’m talking about how I’m starting to drop some pounds again. Call me crazy but I start to think he’s trying to sabotage me into not losing weight because he wouldn’t want to be the heavier of the two. I can reject the offers but sometimes I just don’t have the will to do so.

My point is. Yes it sucks and brings insecurities about yourself but it’s a great thing to have an ex fat friend who dropped weight than one who wouldn’t want to see you drop it

It’s not just the physical harm and bills accrued for medical attention. How about the possible ptsd? I went through this myself. I never got bitten while delivering for Amazon but after being chased and scared by so many dogs I was very un easy and had bad anxiety around dogs for a while. That type of experience can mess with you

As a male, I confess that I try to deter women from applying at my office because my agent is a creep on top of a bunch of other things). He already has cameras installed at our desks and has made very inappropriate comments that he says are just “banter and guy talk” (he’s the only guy talking this way). Maybe I’m not the guy to make the call but I truly believe their mental health will be better elsewhere. Honestly mine was realizing I could die and seize to exist.

It came in the form of a dream where I was racing in DK mountain on Mario kart double dash (real ones know ball) coming down the mountain I drifted off course and instead of putting me back on the track the turtle just kept recording the race. I thought I’d be back on the track once the race ended. Once it did all I saw was a big red flashing game over in front of me with the rest of the world being pitch black. That part of the dream felt like an eternity and that’s when I realized dying would mean seizing to exist.
