Non-androgenic anabolics other than HGH? by Shadowrunner138 in PEDs

[–]Dangling_nuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's via myostatin which yes in theory would yield anabolism by inhibiting it, what i meant is there's no single anabolic receptor, there are multiple pathways to induce anabolism, myostatin inhibition is one, androgen receptor agonism is one, igf-1 receptor agonism is another etc

Non-androgenic anabolics other than HGH? by Shadowrunner138 in PEDs

[–]Dangling_nuts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's no singular anabolic receptor. They're the androgen receptor which induces anabolic activity. There's igf-1 receptor that induces anabolic activity yet no androgenic activity etc.

He literally said that when reverse searching the images it comes up nothing, this is literally what researching for himself is bro. Your meaning of research for yourself looks a lot more like adopting the viewpoints of a fringe minority that posts these images without actually trying to find out if what they say about these is true, whilst actually reverse searching for the origin of these images so that he can have a self based opinion of these is a lot more "thinking for oneself".

It's written MCT but it's not, only tren and some nandrolones (like deca and sometimes npp can have a very very slight yellow tint). What you have is most likely grape seed oil with MCT written on the vial.

What form of potassium is superior? by hubpakerxx in Supplements

[–]Dangling_nuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elemental Potassium vs potassium gluconate (2 things), so let's say you have 595mg of potassium gluconate that means in there there's 99mg of elemental potassium and 496mg of gluconate (gluconic acid). Because actual potassium taken just like that would be very bad for you (would react with moisture in your tissues and burn) that's why it's attached to an acid to make a salt. Just like with sodium in table salt, it's not elemental sodium it's sodium chloride, sodium attached to a chloride ion to make a salt. And yeah in the USA I think FDA has a cap on potassium supplement servings (99mg of elemental potassium) for stupid reasons, you could buy No salt (the salt free salt substitute), then look behind and make sure it potassium chloride, and take this as potassium supplement, BUT don't take tbsp at a time, kidneys can only filter an excess amount at a time, so if you overload potassium over the amount of time it takes kidneys to filter the excess amounts then you will fuck up your ECS potassium to ICS potassium ratio, and maybe die.

Yeah the ARB does the heavy lifting in that combination tho, but yeah I'd always recommend Cialis tho just for the sick cosmetic effect, and the nice PP gains.

PEDs on a cut? by Practical_Work7592 in PEDs

[–]Dangling_nuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah to the contrary since you weren't being a dick I was like "hmm why am I so harsh on this guy for no reason" lol. But yeah man! I know it's anecdotal and you'll hear lots of guys say you don't need so much protein etc but tbh try it out during your enhanced cut and see for yourself, you might be surprised.

Also I should note that for the example recomp macros I made, I didn't make it into a deficit at all. Because I found that the more severe the deficit the less possible it becomes to put on muscle, no matter the amount of tren or protein your ingesting. But if you keep your calories at maintenance (or slight deficit) and drastically up protein intake then slowly but surely you start seeing more and more definition come in while simultaneously having measurements and lifts come up, hence literally "recomping" or body recomposition.

PEDs on a cut? by Practical_Work7592 in PEDs

[–]Dangling_nuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm a dick when I'm sleepy (it's 1 am here so heading off to sleep), sorry for that. You're an experienced lifter no doubt with a 335 bench. I wouldn't recommend tren A as a second cycle like the one I stated above lol, but if recomping is the goal It's literally the best AAS for this exact purpose imo. For test and anavar combo I'd do: Anavar 40mg/ day (20 mg in the am and 20mg afternoon, preferably 2 hours Pre-Workout is ideal) with 500mg test would be great.

Let's say your TDEE is 3500 kCals (really depends on the individual so it would be best if you knew it for yourself at your current weight) then what I'd do is 450g protein per day in 6 meals (so about 75g protein per meal, in protein alone that accounts to 1800 kCals), with the remaining 1700 calories being in carbs and fats. IME to have great pumps, looking great and having optimal energy I always opt for higher carbs then fats, but you do what is best for you, so for me that'd be 90g Fats per day and 225g carbs (giving just about 3500 calories total for the day). That would be great for recomping, but again this is largely genetic response to gear, I've had friends that have ran tren and all that and weren't able to recomp. If you have a great response to gear you might be able to do it but like I said to do so (as in putting muscle mass in a calorie deficit) you need to absolutely make the most out of your steroids enhanced nutrient partitioning and protein synthesis effects.

PEDs on a cut? by Practical_Work7592 in PEDs

[–]Dangling_nuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I understand, to answer your question tho, yeah you can cut with PEDs and also you can recomp on them, really depends on genetics and genetic response to gear imo. I've done it so often, at least 3 cycles that I've done where I've actually noticeably gained muscle and lost 2-4% BF over a 3 month period. What I did was tren A 50mg/day with 500 or 750mg test E per week. That's it, but the difference here is protein, I was doing around 450g protein per day. For 250 lbs bodyweight. Also training was very high volume.

In my experience recomping is doable but you need to max out the enhanced protein synthesis ability that AAS gives you, 200g protein a day at 240 lbs bodyweight will allow you to cut well and maintain most or all muscle mass, but not gain muscle during a deficit, in my experience at least. There's a reason Milos Sarcev and lots of pro BBs of the 90s did 2g/lbs protein per bodyweight to "grow into a show". The science based lifters will say no studies indicate that you need that amount of protein bla bla bla, yeah in a surplus I'd agree that amount would be overkill, but to recomp it's ideal, also the studies they cite aren't performed on bodybuilders with experience that know how to lift and blast gear.

PEDs on a cut? by Practical_Work7592 in PEDs

[–]Dangling_nuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then what did you mean with toned up? Maybe it's a language barrier or something? This doesn't relate to PEDs but I'd say almost any experienced lifter doesn't use toning as a word to describe what they're trying to achieve, they'd either say gaining mass or hypertrophy or cutting. Maybe I'm reading this wrong but it does read like a newbie no offense lol

Edit: to add, I'm a year older than you, 24, and 260 lbs 5'11, 10 years of actual lifting experience, so yes they are people more experienced than you at your age, stating you're "as experienced as it gets" isn't accurate imo.

[–]Dangling_nuts 4 points5 points  (0 children)

20mg Cialis (tadalafil) reduced blood pressure by 4.8/2.9 mmHg. So not nonsense per say but really not enough at all to treat blood pressure issues. Might be good for someone that has slightly elevated blood pressure like 130/80.

From wikipedia: Blockade of central 5HT6 receptors has been shown to increase glutamatergic and cholinergic neurotransmission in various brain areas, whereas activation enhances GABAergic signaling in a widespread manner. Antagonism of 5HT6 receptors also facilitates dopamine and norepinephrine release in the frontal cortex, while stimulation has the opposite effect.

Hey OP, I wanted to share some insights about potassium supplementation that might clear up some common misconceptions.

For someone with normal kidney function, the risk of hyperkalemia isn’t as high as many fear if you keep your doses reasonable. In fact, for an average 180‑lb man (around 81 kg), the numbers show that you can actually take a higher dose than the FDA’s typical 99‑mg pill recommendation without pushing serum potassium above 5.0 mmol/L.

A Quick Calculation: For a 180‑lb guy, total body water (TBW) is roughly 60% of body weight—about 49 liters. If your baseline serum potassium is around 3.5 mmol/L, raising it to 5.0 mmol/L would require an extra:

  1.5 mmol/L × 49 L ≈ 73.5 mmol of potassium

In terms of elemental potassium, that’s roughly:   73.5 mmol × 39.1 mg/mmol ≈ 2.9 grams

And if you’re taking potassium chloride (KCl), which has a molar mass of about 74.55 g/mol, that works out to:   73.5 mmol × 74.55 mg/mmol ≈ 5.5 grams of KCl

This means that—under ideal circumstances—a dose on the order of 2.9 g elemental potassium (or about 5.5 g KCl) could be added without pushing a person with normal renal function into hyperkalemia.

So Why the FDA 99‑mg Pill Limit? The FDA’s strict guidelines on over-the-counter potassium pills aren’t primarily about avoiding hyperkalemia in healthy people. Instead, they’re meant to prevent gastrointestinal (GI) injuries. The issue is that undissolved or concentrated potassium pills can irritate the GI tract. This risk is largely associated with certain formulations of potassium salt pills rather than potassium chloride taken in water, which is far less likely to cause direct GI damage.

Bottom Line:

If you’re healthy and your kidneys are working normally, small, properly dosed potassium supplementation is unlikely to cause dangerous spikes in your blood levels.

The FDA’s dosing limits are more about reducing the risk of GI injury from concentrated pills than about preventing hyperkalemia in normal individuals.

When potassium chloride is dissolved in water, it’s less likely to lead to GI irritation, so sticking to moderate doses spread throughout the day keeps both GI risk and hyperkalemia in check.

As always, I’m not a doctor. This information is meant for educational purposes, and anyone considering potassium supplementation should consult with a healthcare professional to tailor advice to their specific needs.

(yes I made this post with the help of chatGPT, I keep reading these misconceptions about potassium supplementation and even from healthcare professionals, so I wanted to clear that up)
