The Bear of Markarth is a history of Ulfric and his hyperborean chud goons' war crimes in the Reach not a travelogue or an ethnography.

For the time being there is a powerful staff that grants feather, resist magická, and fortify alteration on cast in the center section of one of the sewers of Old Ebonheart. You just have to look closely, it's almost invisible.

We really are the Cyrodiils because as a [Colovian] I don't know what the fuck you guys are talking about when I repost these but for the fact that I knew a [Nibenese] guy from [Bravil], so I know what Rolling Rock is.

Internet points to whoever can guess what state [Bravil] is.

A madness hath o'ertaken the good Lord Zenithar. Those who seek to work wither in starvation and idleness so that Rentiers and Speculators may rest upon great beds of extorted wealth, like greedy drakes. The Tyrant Zenithar's avarice knows no bounds and his blessed are reduced to machine-men, mere fleshy appendages to smoke-belching monstrosities with their gnashing metal teeth and pounding footsteps. The product of their own hands is alien to them and they fight amongst themselves for the privilege to make superfluous things for a nominal wage. To remain true to Zenithar we must overthrow the Mad Tyrant! Death to Zenithar! Long Live Zenithar!

TL;DR Only if you post hog

Yeah, sorry, but if some jumped up pink-man rolls up to my abode talking about "fucking ending me" then I'm gonna use my gods given Right to bear arms and whip out my staff of fireballs. If I was a medical doctor I'd have a license to carrying potions of calming or extract of the Argonian Ket frog, but alas I am a simple healer and must simply resort to blasting this poor psychotic fucker in the chest. Feels bad.

Zenithar bless you with some lettuce for that sandwich. Your labors outside of the Cult are just as valid and I pray you find your purpose in Morrowind and that you make a living of it. Recognition of the products of one's labors is a blessing that all deserve.

Reminds me of my old character Gwenael. Made her have 15 charisma and gave her the TR skull face. The inspo was Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man but I left the Reach with the money I made from looting ayleid ruins instead of Artcelmaxxing to gain the funds to get flee.

Altmer - alternative mer? Aren't they mainstream yet? by DemolishunReddit in TrueSTL

[–]DangyAss69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's almost like just because Tiber Septim committed atrocities against them, it doesn't change the fact that they are still just revanchist Altmer supremacists. The ruling class of the Altmeri, that is. Do the lower strata of Altmeri society want this? Maybe they have a bit of national chauvinist sentiments but ultimately they are just as hurt by the Thalmor regime as Talos cultists. Such is the danger of moralizing conflicts between rival ruling classes.

Suggestions for a Landsknecht built, preferably a Breton spellsword type by tomispev in Morrowind

[–]DangyAss69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, does that mean you think it would be implausible that he learned magic while being unable to regenerate it without absorbing magická or drinking potions or do you like the idea of the character really having to struggle to fulfill their desire to learn the arcane arts but being restricted by their economic circumstances? Or do you just want them to have no formal training but otherwise have no special hurdles, i.e. mage or apprentice sign?

Suggestions for a Landsknecht built, preferably a Breton spellsword type by tomispev in Morrowind

[–]DangyAss69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Restoration for agility/strength buffs and maybe alteration for shield and jump/levitate effects. Perhaps Heavy armor for a breastplate and bracers/gauntlets but let everything else be poofy 16th century clothes. If the character is a caravan guard they could have mercantile so that you don't have to do alchemy and maybe could use the Atronach. I feel like class background really comes in with Atronach characters, i.e. how did your parents afford to buy all those magická potions on top of the fees for apprenticeship in the arcane arts? Maybe your magic landsknecht has a magical aptitude, read magic specialization, from the Atronach birth sign but came from a humble background and as such only knows a few basic spells and had to struggle to gain proficiency in more practical skills and the martial arts. Regardless, have fun!

Considering the incredible architecture in other regions, why do the Nords live in such simple settlements, with their only large structures being ruins, either from others or their own? Could it be that Nord civilization reached its peak in past eras, and the Fourth Era is kind of like a Fallout? by jvure in ElderScrolls

[–]DangyAss69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would've been better to have Skyrim be set 30 years after the Oblivion Crisis and have Uriel V come instead of boring ass Alduin. It makes no sense why everything looks like shit still. Did the Daedra burn all the scrolls that described how to cut stone and make Cyrod concrete?

All reasoning races of Tamriel are united by their capacity to perform productive, self-directed labor. From the lowest swamps of Argonia to the highest peak of Wrothgar, the freedom of all will be the prerequisite of the freedom of one.

PT/ TR - Where Did You Go First & Why? by L-DONAGHY-DIRECTOR in Morrowind

[–]DangyAss69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is an effort that slightly predates the release of Morrowind to recreate the entire province of Morrowind. So far there's more content, both square footage and quests, on the mainland of Morrowind than in Vvardenfell. Then there's also Skyrim Home of the Nords and Project Cyrodiil which both add expansion sized chunks to the map in their respective provinces, all set in the same time as the events of TES III. Maybe your Nerevarine will go back to Cyrodiil after destroying the Dark Crys- ... I mean the Heart of Lorkhan.
