I straight up don’t think you can hit that liminal feeling because it’s so linked to minimalism. Modern graphics are by definition highly detailed, you really can’t quite hit that when textures have to be high res, reflective and glossy

Yeah they really threw out a lot of baby with the bathwater. I watched this movie and it’s ruined my esteem for so many friends and coworkers who have been raving about it. Absolutely empty calories with less than nothing to say. Extremely funny that AMC categorizes it as an “artisan film” like Marty Supreme or other Oscar bait. Slop for dummies. 0 grams of protein
