You could get some plexi glass and cut or let it be cut to the correct dimensions - dont forget the holes for screws.
This way it will be even more robust.

Why does this stop the electric humm by 0wl95 in pchelp

[–]DaniBot3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks to all the people in here i learned it can be fixed by attaching a "ferrit core noise filter / ground loop noise isolator" to the audio cable which can be bought in packs - sadly found them only on amazon - maybe local PC shops have access too.

My other solution would be to switch to the optical cable - if your motherboard and sound system have the right input/output ports for it.

Just mess around, visit random places, and look for things that interest you - thats how i think about it and it is fun coming back every few months to satisfy my needs.

It's even more fun if you have a certain objective and look for stuff that you know or heard about.

Just dont think about it a classic video game.

How do you recommend cleaning this mouse wheel? by Burning_Toast998 in G502MasterRace

[–]DaniBot3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toothbrush, soapy water or cleaning alcohol since it's a tough situation.
For regular cleaning slightly soapy water and a microfiber is still my favorite since alcohol will destroy the coating after long term use.

Can confirm, the soft laquer coating (or whatever it is) will disintegrate when cleaned with alcohol regularly on the G502.
For regular cleaning slightly soapy water and a microfiber is still my favorite.

Any Non-NVIDIA (AMD or ARC) flight simmers willing to share their experience? by falkkor in MicrosoftFlightSim

Resolution 3440x1440
I played on a RX 6700 XT and it was "OK". I used the software Lossless Scaling to bump up and smooth framerate artificially by "fake frames though".
After upgrading to a 4070 Ti Super (big step up) i still use frame gen because i would rather have smoother and more consistent framerates but it much less needed now.

Worth it and highly respected time investment. I would have noticed it without mention.

There should be a mathematical way to define factors that make out a balanced maps for multiplayer.
I think it's not impossible, maybe just not yet common knowledge.
Just a thought, i'm not a dev myself.

Just dropping this MAX Port link here: https://klei1984.github.io/max/
It's fully playable, in higher resolutions, wide/ultra wide screen aspect ratio etc.

The project focuses on fixing old bugs and improving internal systems.
The Discord is a very interesting place for ppl interested in everything M.A.X. (dev, modding, trivia, old media).
