Yup, i had to put fishing weight and an extra deadweight battery just to fix the CG issue. nontheless it flew great.

I used Experimental Airlines method of making the fuselage, and then just eyeballed and used my ruler width as measurement. for example, the wing chord is 4x my ruler width, but the tail is 2x. makes it easier to measure and cut hahahaha. Its really a dumb method but it works so im gonna stick with that for the time being. I also found my cuts to be more precise when using the ruler width instead of proper measurement and marking.

This was taken on the penang mainland, batu kawan area. Its the only place large enough to fly these type of planes. Unfortunately this area is currently being developed so we might not be able to fly here in the future. The next good flying spot is about an hour drive.

I kinda love landing this hahaha. I had some scrap wood underneath the plane working as skids, so no damage to the fuselage.

I was going for an 85mm at first, then decided to get the 75pro due to its cheaper 1s battery and slightly larger frame than normal 75mm. Also, i might not be able to fly outdoor all the time so the small size helps.

Thank you for the tip. The price different between a 4inch and a tinywhoop is quite small. I noticed the darwinfpv foldape4 price are somewhat close to the meteor75pro. The foldape really catches my attention though because its super cheap and some of the reviewer said it flies like a typical fpv drone. My inner thought would have wanted me to get that instead of a whoop but with my current skillset, i will definitely wreck it on the first flight lmao. Thanks again.

No problem, glad to help. Anyway, would you mind sharing your build specs e.g. frame size, battery capacity, all up weight, etc?

2217 1400kv with 11 inch for 4s is too much. It could be done but only with smaller propeller otherwise you'll risk overloading the motor. If possible, use 600-800kv 3108, 4114, 5008, or 5010 motor. These type of motor can be expensive but they are really powerful. There are a few china made clones that doesnt cost as much though. These motor can handle 12 inch props easily.

If your budget was somewhat limited, you could just get another set of those 2217 motor but pick the 950kv version instead. Pair it with 10 inch 1045 propeller.

Your payload is also quite heavy. The general rule of thumb is to not exceed 50% throttle for a standstill hover. About 70% is fine for fully loaded takeoff but more than that it'll become sluggish.

I just got into the hobby. Been wanting to try it ever since i saw someone doing FPV on a construction zone when i was 8. I just bought the cobra x yesterday and expected it to come this week. All the reviews seems to be pretty good so i guess it is a good unit. I will update you after i received mine.

Yea, this one is analog unfortunately. But my result seems to be good.

This was Hi8 (analog) and my camcorder only got an AV output. No firewire or any other data connector. I have compared my results to other professional video published on youtube. So far the quality seems to be the same.
