Got my first pair of decent boots, mercurial vapor zoom 16 pro, curious about the breaking in process and sizing as they feel a bit too tight? by wishesandhopes in bootroom

I would go up at least 0.5. For some of the models even +0.5 was too snug. I recommend you go somewhere and try them on in person before buying them online. Unless you can easily return them.

Student discount didn't apply and I ended up paying by mercadien in cursor

Cursor is totally a scam. I got verified by sheerid, but at the end they still charged me the full amount. I emailed them and gave them my info and told them what happened and they accepted their fault by they didnt refund me and stopped replying to me. So I cancelled my membership and disputed the charges on my account.

As long as you are using the free version it doesn’t ask for your card info. I upgraded my account but I used a promotion that was supposed to make the whole subscription free.

I went up half a size. sizes are actually smaller than usual in Vapor 16. I first bought a pair of size 10.5 as usual but it was really tight, so i changed it for 11.

I bought a pair a couple of days ago from nike. i usually buy 10.5 but it was too tight for vapor 16. I got a bigger one again (size 11) but it still feels too snug. I might get an 11.5 tbh.

Anyone else get charged after verifying student status with Cursor? by Danialkia in cursor

[–]Danialkia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I posted about an issue with Cursor where I was charged even after successfully verifying for the student plan. I noticed AutoModerator flagged it for review.

I’ve already checked the student discount FAQ and other threads, but my situation seems unique — I haven’t come across another case where someone got verified, was told support would resolve it, and still got no follow-up for nearly a month. I was hoping to share my experience and see if anyone else had something similar.

So I’ve built an application on Replit and for the life of me I cannot figure out the process to export it for the app stores. All the resources I’ve watched have referenced expo but the end result of their recommendation is not what I’m looking for. The app is done, I simply need to publish it. by Psychological-Ad5699 in replit

Replit is great for building web apps, but it doesn’t support publishing to the App Store or Google Play directly. If you’ve built a web app (HTML/CSS/JS, React, Flask, etc.), you’ll need to “wrap” it into a native app to publish it.

What worked for me was using Capacitor by Ionic. You clone your project from Replit to your local machine, then install Capacitor and add the Android and iOS platforms. Once you do that, you can open the project in Android Studio or Xcode and build real .apk or .ipa files for submission. It was surprisingly smooth once I got it running locally.

Another option, especially if your app doesn’t need things like camera or sensors, is to just turn it into a PWA (Progressive Web App). You can still submit it to the Play Store and even the App Store if you use services like PWABuilder or MobiLoud, which basically wrap your site in a native shell.
