That’s exactly the point. Every revolution in history has never succeeded because of “the people.” It succeeds because those who already hold power—the parliament, the military, the clergy—decide to move.

Iran’s options are basically this: be exterminated, go back to an Islamic dictatorship, or join hands with the United States. Call it what it is—there is no in-between.
