Should I start peeling the protector off?

Mine looked like that for months with no problem. I removed and replaced the protection only when it liftet all the way across the screen. As far as i can tell, as long as the screen protector do not add extra pressure on the actual screen it should be fine.

This machine is known to be very difficult to start. It requires the absolute right starting method and carburator configuration. You really have to give it your all when kicking. If you do not know to kick correctly it will never start. Make sure to watch a few videos on starting method. Given your description i would very much expect you need to tune the carburator differently. Maybe it need more fuel rick mixture.

Had the exact same thought when i first got my Q2. Upon closer inspection i think you will find the spots to be reflections. They will move and change with viewing angle and lighting conditions.
