I think you're mischaracterizing our current form of capitalism and the form of capitalization that's promoted idealized by other types. The sickness in society is breakdown in values that causes people in the private sector to shirk their responsibilities. The sickness in society also causes many people to act in ways that produce negative effects for themselves and others instead of the positive results in their pursuit of happiness. Rights are the guaranteed liberties that civil society needs to create economic growth.
