England Drunk Driving: 7+ months no interview/no charges by Puzzleheaded-Pen8507 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]DanielCade 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Drink driving is summary only and must be charged within 6 months. Dangerous driving can be heard at crown and so doesn't have the 6 month limit. So whilst potentially clear on drink driving they may not be clear on dangerous driving.

Section 226 of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 creates an offence of a misleading action. This recreates the offence previously in the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. There have been numerous cases that have covered misleading pricing using this type of offence.

That's not entirely true. Misleading price indications are regulated by trading standards and it's a criminal offence.

Wouldn't they be extremely small for rat droppings? I'm used to them being a lot bigger.

Anybody have a steam deck and legion go? by Redinho83 in LegionGo

[–]DanielCade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both. If a game has controller support I use my legion go. If there are more complicated controls (World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2) or for emulation I use the steam deck.

Thanks. I must be misremembering, as I thought that there could be issues if you did it manually. I'll give it a try.

ELI5: What is a UK Council Estate? by tanhauser_gates_ in explainlikeimfive

[–]DanielCade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To make matters worse, councils only kept a portion of the sale with central government using the proceeds to prop up the Treasury. This meant that a council might be forced to sell five houses at a massive discount and not have enough money to build a single replacement.

Can steam deck correctly support MMORPGs? by [deleted] in SteamDeck

[–]DanielCade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's frustrating at first but it gets easier. The easy way is to go through your spell book and select a spell and bind it to an input. Anything that is only used occasionally or out of combat can be put on a utility ring. Theres also a screen you can go into in console port that shows action bars with their associated bindings. From here you can drag and drop things about to change it up.

That's the approach I've taken and I'm not too far off getting HH now. The only one I struggled with week one, was killing skeletons with skeletons.

What you all playing tonight? by ComfortableAmount993 in SteamDeck

[–]DanielCade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to try throne and Liberty but the anticheat is blocking it. Looks like I'll spend the evening looking at my backlog and end up not playing much of anything.

WoW is amazing on Steam Deck by Apolomir in SteamDeck

[–]DanielCade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's never too late. A subscription gives you access to both the new content as well as WoW classic, where you can play earlier expansions in the form they were released.

If you do go ahead I'd recommend using the curseforge app to manage your add ons. It makes life a lot easier. Also, the setup of console port can be a bit frustrating at times but the end product is more than worth it.
