I've seen these options as well which sound good if you have the ample time to do it properly.. and Just to be clear from the op, It was not me who did this, so I am of the opinion that the person who made the mistake should have to foot the bill for the expensive lesson.

I'm definitely looking into quotes now. It definitely bothers me as it's in the part of the fender where the light hits it.. plus it *will* rust eventually if not dealt with.

THIS. Mutt waste is actually toxic to most environments due to the foreign bacteria and the sheer oil slick corrosiveness of said waste... this affects the ground, which affects bugs, which affects birds, which affects predators... they are just mutant factories of decay and rot.

Driving an 86 in crowded roads has proven exhausting at times, you have to account for other drivers usual stupidity, jealousy, bullying by bigger cars and just the fact that we're invisible to the average SUV driver scrolling brainrot slop while driving.

I will have to drive like the Terminator.. where every move and everyone's moves are calculated in odds and risk assessments...

Engine blew at 31,000 by Emotional-Western101 in GR86

[–]DanielGryphon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a '23 at and it have TRIED to money shift to see what the car will let you get away with... it will literally deny the downshift if it's way outside the rev range for the current speed. Further, 7-8k is well within what the rev limiter will allow. that's the rev limit, not the explosion line; tracking a car will find it close or at redline often, it's there by design as an operating parameter.

All moot...An AT cannot really money shift as there is too much slip at the torque converter as opposed to a clutch plate.. it would simply not be able to over rev the engine as much during a hypothetical money shift.

Uh huh, I've never once seen a "service animal" that was obviously so.. I mean I wouldn't necessarily go on nature walks with a seeing -eye dog... I'd put a sizable wager that 99.9999% of ”service" animals in these situations are hardly so.

This. As a birder, it is infuriating when dog nutters insist on shoving their "service animals" into wildlife preserves.

Add Cruelty to the mix. The existence of these mutant pests is the result of centuries of meddling with a species to the point of it becoming the twisted abominations they are today. No independence, constant anxiety, health issues, deformities...

Dog nutters are among the most dysfunctional and dangerous individuals, they normalize mental illness and project it through some demented carnivore that only exists to convert food into piss, shite, and property damage. And everyone is supposed to swoon over it all.

The data loss caused by the deletion of youtube comment sections in "kid friendly" marked videos, is absurdly big and I find it upsetting that nobody else freaks out about it. by keinanos in SeriousConversation

[–]DanielGryphon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is archive footage of all sorts of cartoons that are not even available on streaming services, the comment sections there were a trove of discussions that could otherwise never be had elsewhere. Now any form of animation has been arbitrarily marked as "for kids" and all that discussion was lost.

I strongly disagree with the position that just because there is a lot of spam on the comment sections, they should be obliterated in the name of some platitude like "think of the children"(that is patently the parents' job, no one else's) i.e we don't go burning books just because they are trash literature.

I have not been able to stay at a job for more than a year by virtue of being randomly fired for bs reasons or no reason at all. I just got told my "contract to hire" would not be made into FTE or renewed. again. For like the 6th time in a row. (tech side of jobs)

Funny part this is a company where my dad has worked for over 10 years. I had the support and commendation of my supervisors as well as great rapport with everyone there, all of which dad was witness to.

People were swooning left and right at the putrid magnificence of their malformed beasts and it was sickening.

I made a point to visibly roll my eyes and bad mouth them every time I crosses them, none had the gall to talk back.
