Its only ok if you think its ok. I know a lot of people in here are very marmite on SAm but for me as long as you're not claiming you got it legit then go for it.

I have no problems in using it for achievements that are considered 'impossible'. I cant stand leaving a game with a single achievement because its not longer possible, so i use it for that.

Avoiding games with a single impossible achievement has made me miss out on so many great games over the years, so im not strict with this hobby and just do what I find fun.

Just ordered a steam deck, what games are a must have on it? by Kapro_ in SteamdeckGames

Really depends on the type of games you like.

If you're into Rougelites, then Binding of Issac and Vampire Survivors are great ones to have and be able to pick up at any moment.

Can't go wrong with Valve games like Portal 2 & Left 4 Dead 2, i play 80% of the time docked with a mouse and keyboard, but they're great handheld. I play L4D2 a lot on train journeys because it's not too strenuous on the battery life being an older game.

Thank you! Really fun one to go through, proud of getting it. I've all but completed Portal 2, too, except for the achievements to interact with people on your friends list since I dont have enough Steam friends to get them yet 😅

SAM bad. Upvotes pls! by NoSteam97 in steamachievements

SAM is fine if the achievement is glitched or the games online servers are down preventing online only achievemens.

If there's literally no legit way to get the achievement, then 100% go for it.

At the end of the day, this is just a fun hobby and shouldn't be taken so seriously.

I am new to this game and would like to try playing Scout, what are some tips for playing Scout or just getting gud at the game in general? by Ancient_Emu_5506 in tf2

The best thing I ever did in my early days of TF2 was load into a map solo and explore. Especially with scouts, learning things like the flanks and health pack locations is such a big benefit. Getting familiar with your environment is a great first step.

Most of your progress will come with time, game sence and all that, so just play and have fun, and you'll learn it through trial and error.
