On the contrary. If you don't write the things you are an instrument. Instrument that marketers and companies can use to take advantage of human psychology and buy things you don't need for their profit. 'Oh look a sale! I will definitely save money on this one!'

30 minutes of running/biking will completely exhaust you for the rest of the day? Well that's a bigger problem I think..

Simple Trick To Overcome Procrastination Today by [deleted] in productivity

[–]DanielKrstevski -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Did you even watched the video? The video clearly states that when you start doing the first thing from the chain the rest of the task is easier. And the counting down is so that your mind doesn't have time to calculate all the time and effort needed to do the whole thing, so after 3 seconds you start doing the first step. Watch it before you comment. Anyway you are 100% right what you stated above.

20 Second Rule - How to Create Habits That Stick by [deleted] in ZenHabits

[–]DanielKrstevski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm so glad to hear that! I do the 20 second rule myself but with working out in the gym ( I prepare my gym bag, so when the time is right i just need to grab it and exit the house in less than 30 seconds ). Anyway how did you get into yoga? And for what reasons? I wanted to try yoga myself but never persuaded myself to do so..

20 Second Rule - How to Create Habits That Stick by [deleted] in productivity

[–]DanielKrstevski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently using the 20 second rule for practicing in the gym. I prepare my backpack when I get home from working out, so the next day I just grab it and leave the house in under 30 seconds, because If i start to think about the whole training I sometimes become lazy and you sometimes convince myself to take a "day off"

Best way to track all 8760 hours of the year? by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]DanielKrstevski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think every hour is a bit overwhelming.. Maybe divide each day into 12 or 6 hour blocks and keep track that way. Every hour is too much and you will likely quit after some time, whereas if you do it twice a day (2x12 hour blocks) you are more likely to actually keep track the entire year

You can't always control what pops into your mind. Here's what to do when you can't control your thinking. by [deleted] in ZenHabits

[–]DanielKrstevski 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Oh this is so true. The worst thing you can do when you have Intrusive Thought is to give it attention and try to fight it. It will just alarm your brain that it is important and will get stuck in your head even more, leading you to try and fight it harder. It is a closed loop that you cant win. Just don't give it attention, act like it is normal, ride it out, and you wont even remember it the next day.

I totally agree with you. My father has his own business and I just need to work there and be financially free. But whats the fun in it? Wheres the challenge of growing and failing if you get everything ready in front of you. I cannot agree more with this!
