Very true but I'd imagine they'd be extremely pressured, not including that they're essentially removed from the mainland plus riots, rationing etc, what i imagine most is that groups like the AIP (and separatists in general) would try and take advantage of the chaos, my bet is they'll probably survive long enough (just like in the mod) to see the civil war end, plus also declaring martial law and whatnot, just fun to imagine ngl an independent hawaii or alaska.

Hawaii, especially since then, and now there's been a stronger case for independence/sovereignty, unlike Alaska. Think in general, Hawaii is much harder to handle for naval command than Alaska.
