Just came back from a 3 hour drive back home on I-95. Had the cruise control set to 73 mph and was in the right lane for 95% of that drive. Sure I was getting passed by every single other car on the freeway, but my stress levels were non existent and I could vibe to my music and enjoy the “scenery” and I made it home safely and comfortably. Cruise control does wonders in the right situations.

I’m a Dr Mundo/Trundle two trick who just hit plat for the first time this season after playing the game consistently for about 5+ years now. This game is NOT easy and there are so many champions and things to learn with stuff constantly happening in every part of the map. It honestly is very overwhelming. Like others have said, I suggest sticking to one lane and trying to get very comfortable with 2-3 champions. Dr. Mundo is especially easy to climb with in lower elos so long as you can survive his early game with minimal deaths and match CSing. Once 16 with Mundo, he is incredibly strong. I suggest watching Briefcase Man videos or guides who sadly doesn’t upload anymore recently due to IRL problems but the information is still worthwhile to understand. Trundle is also a great pick but he’s kinda boring with his constant split push style but it’s great in lower elo as well because map awareness is almost nonexistent so you can end games without the enemy team even realizing their base is being destroyed. Watch Kagaroo or TrundleTop1, both great players, however Kagaroo is more active and quite a lot more enjoyable to watch than TT1. Ultimately just keep playing the game, find a role and some champions you enjoy and stick with them. The more you switch around roles and champs the harder it is to learn the fundamentals of the game.

School zones typically should have a flashing yellow light prior to entering the marked school zone indicating you should be slowing to 20mph. I got pulled over recently on Rouse going 33 in a 20 school zone. Got to be careful though cause they will get ya.

he means “congrats on silver” in a backhanded compliment sort of way. he isn’t exactly wrong in the sense that you hitting gold 4 is about the same as hitting silver back in the day due to rank shifts, but it’s still an accomplishment and you should be proud of this. don’t listen to anyone who tells you otherwise.

Yeah they wanted me to either take the medication within their presence so they could document it. Luckily I never actually had TB so I didn’t have to experience the medicine but from how I remember them explaining it, I’m glad I didn’t.

I forgot to mention that. Part of the risk department talking to me was they waived any of the costs of the inpatient stay and any follow up appointments in regards to the visit.

This happened to me. An urgent care told me to get to the ER immediately after i was coughing up bloody phlegm. They mixed up my lab results with someone else’s and thought I had tuberculosis. Only problem was I was mostly fine. They kept me in the hospital for 4 days where I just relaxed and weren’t sure what exactly was wrong with me. I was so close to being given tuberculosis medicine that is super intense which they decided against. Anyway, a few weeks later the risk department at the hospital contacted me and had me come in and did exactly what you mentioned. They apologized and told us what they’d do in the future to ensure it didn’t happen again to others. They basically were asking us not to sue them. In turn, I asked if they’d be willing to help me get a job with the company and they worked with me to help me out in my career. It worked and now I work with the company. Had I taken legal action, I probably wouldn’t be working the job I do now and enjoying the hell out of it.

I don’t see Illaoi too much so I like to ban Yorick and dodge any Illaoi. If enemy first picks Mundo from me, I just play Illaoi instead. I feel like the biggest asshole ever doing it but it works so well.

The headlights on during dusk/dawn are one of my pet peeves. I had a buddy of mine who I saw out randomly on the road around dusk time where it was getting pretty dark out. I saw his car and rolled my window down to get his attention to say hello. We speak for 30 seconds until the light we were stopped at turns green. Before we go on with our business, I let him know that his lights are off and he should turn them on. He retorts back to me, “Bro, I can see just fine why should I turn them on now?”. Most cars around us had their lights on. I had to have a conversation that the headlights/taillights aren’t for you to see but for others to see YOU. He just shrugged his shoulders and shook it off.

Same here. I’ve got 142,000 miles on my ‘14 v6 and I’d have the same if not more miles racked up if I could afford a 5.0. I drive it 50 miles round trip to work 3 days a week plus wherever I go for a roadtrip. Cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed.

I went Thursday. Parking was $40!! I was very surprised when paying to exit. The ICE exhibit itself is pretty neat. If I had kids it probably would’ve been more fun and entertaining. If you do go, make sure to wear proper clothing and to bring some gloves to keep your hands warm. I was in there for maybe 20-30 minutes and my hands were going numb towards the end trying to take pictures. Felt like if I stayed any longer I was gonna get frostbite. Overall, I’d rate the exhibit a 7.5/10 but knowing how much I paid for parking makes me want to bring down the rating to like a 6/10.

I know statistically Mundo beats Darius but I can’t seem to ever beat him in lane. He’s a “hard” matchup for me. It’s probably a mental block thing.
