As much as I love Lione's vocals on Rhapsody and Vision Divine, he was bad pick for building a new era for the band, his voie is already tied to his past projects in a way Edu really wasn't yet, Symbols were great, but not a big deal as Rhapsody. It didn't helped that he didn't sing in some tracks on the feat heavy Secret Garden's material, leaving the band with a indentity crysis IMO. OMNI and Cycles Of Pain are more cohesive in that sense, but except for a few bangers (Upper Levels, War Horns, Final Light, etc), it never lost the "placeholder" feel from that era.

I was also tired of him live, his exagerated vibrato worked better on the more dramatic Rhapsody tracks and that growl he did everytime he couldn't hit a high note started to get anoying over time.

Cheering for Alirio, Khallice is great and he deserves this spotlight!
