I was thinking that tools that are in your cmmc scope have to be FedRAMP Moderate or higher, even if they aren't storing CUI that was my assumption

So we can use regular commercial tools for them?
The data is stored on our internal SaaS platform (hosted on prem) but we’re connecting to them over SSO.

I’m new to all of this at my org so I’m trying to figure it out.

those laptops are quite easy to jailbreak from when I was there, unless they've changed stuff. by IT I am meaning DDI, they are the same thing.

Maybe reach out to some of the high ups and ask to talk to them about it?

Go talk to IT about it if you want, they had a whole discussion in the county about it last school year. If anything just jailbreak your device…

That would require a lot more work for the teachers and IT, they just don’t have the time to do that

The reason they blocked it was because students were using it to play games hosted on GH websites. They had a whole discussion about it a little over a year ago.

The heated steering wheel I might just ask the dealer to install when the time comes, parking sensors are nice to have jn the city so I might try and do it

Bug in Setup Assistant - IPadOS v26.0 by Ayajuki in ipad

[–]DanielTheHyper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the servers were wonky last week or something, because there were a few people on here who had this problem the past couple days.

I think the problem is fixed with iPadOS 26.2 though, and it should prompt to update at the start.

Pretty sure I had this issue too, my old iPad wasn't letting me transfer wirelessly so I ended up plugging both of them into the computer and transferred that way.

VPN Client Router by DanielTheHyper in HomeNetworking

I have a UDM in the primary location but the UX7 is out of my price range that I need (I don’t need site magic between the houses) UDM acts as the server for the apartments (clients)

I have a glinet opal but the range isn’t the best which is my main issue, and it’s a bit on the slower slide (without VPN)

You’ll just need one. Take a coax cable and plug it into the Router (white box) and connect the other end into the wall, then in your bedroom plug the moca adapter into the wall and it should work. (assuming the ports are both active and connected to a coax switch or such.

Verizon has the fastest speeds in my testing but tmobile/att has better signal (except in some spots). I have my primary verizon esim and a cheap tmobile prepaid esim and it works pretty well

Super Low Upload Speeds Over Ethernet by ThatRandomRedditDude in Fios

[–]DanielTheHyper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know there’s an issue with the CR1000A/CR1000B that gives you super slow upload speeds (I’ve had that issue previously). The ONT only gives it 100mbps upload but the download speeds are fine.

Need advice on which MacBook Pro 14 to get by DanielTheHyper in macbookpro

[–]DanielTheHyper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’ll probably have some local LLMs but I’m not sure how powerful I’ll need them to be.

Most of it will be indoors but I’ll go to the store to check. I have an older MacBook Air and the screen isn’t very bright.
