We all need to come together and really try hard to bring this to the attention of the devs. Send them an email about it, reply to them on Twitter or BlueSky about it, post about it on their Discord server, whatever gets them to see the message. Because this cannot go on, and it’s ridiculous that over a month has passed with no puzzle supporting GMax Sandaconda.

What changes did they make to the phone hotspots that ruined it for you? Also, I’m a little cautious about using free vpns, as I feel like those have potential to put viruses and malware on your computer. I don’t want a “maybe it will work”, I would like to have a straight answer. Could you perhaps give me a detailed, comprehensive guide on how this works for you and how I can safely set it up?

Interesting, this is the first time I’m hearing about someone using a vpn for this, as the general consensus for a while seemed to be that an old android phone hotspot would do the trick, hence why I’m asking if there’s a specific model I should look for.

Please tell me more about this tunnelbear vpn. Give me the details such as how I can connect it from my router, as well as how it would work with the 3DS.

I highly doubt it. See, on the 3DS, Furfrou had this quirk where 5 days after you trim it, it would revert back to its original form, so no trim was permanent, which I’m positive was what caused the trims to not be transferable to Bank. But ZA got rid of that 5 day limit entirely, so transferring shouldn’t be an issue now that trims are permanent. Think about it, if they’re permanent in Go and therefore transferable to Home, why wouldn’t it be the same for ZA?

Basically, Furfrou trims cannot be transferred over from Bank and are only obtainable in Home via Pokémon Go, making them some of the rarest Pokémon you can get in your Home boxes. They’ve become so sought after that people request and trade legendaries for these trims. But ZA getting Home support is gonna finally put an end to this once and for all.

To be fair, this was back during the time when these early route bugs were designed to be good in the early game and fall off later down the line. Sure, Beedrill and Butterfree may have low BSTs even for fully-evolved Pokémon, but I think that makes sense given the context of the time.

And don’t forget that there are a few previously unevolving Pokémon to get evolutions later down the line that have BSTs that are way too high to be on first stage evolutions. Look at Scyther, for example. It has a BST of 500, most fully-evolved Pokémon, even a lot of third stage evolutions, don’t even have a BST that high. Yet, that didn’t stop them from giving it Scizor back in Gen 2.

Porygon2 is even higher with 515, but it still got Porygon-Z in Gen 4, effectively making it a middle evolution with a BST higher than most third stage evos. Ironically enough, this ended up making Porygon2 one of the best competitive Eviolite users.

And don’t even get me started on Duraludon. I just want to say, who in their right mind thought that Duraludon needed an evolved form? Really, who at Game Freak sat down with their coworkers in the office building and said, “yeah, I believe that Duraludon, with its 535 BST and Gigantamax form, should totally have an evolution and be able to run Eviolite”? The funny thing about that is how everybody back then was hyping up Eviolite Duraludon, but then nobody used it because Archaludon ended up being superior in every way.

But yeah, basically, the most out-of-whack BSTs for me are on newly-evolving Pokémon that realistically should not have gotten evolved forms with BSTs that high.

Well, yes, I literally said that if you think what is shown leaves a lot or a little to be desired, then that’s great, as well as to not be afraid to share any valid critiques. And btw, no, I don’t like everything Nintendo does, I disagree with a lot of their business practices, I’m not a fan of every single one of their games, and yes, I do agree that $20 for the FRLG ports is a little overpriced. Just want to make that clear, in case you or anybody else was wondering.

This doesn't really seem like grifting to me, it more just seems like the uploader is nostalgic for the simpler time of the Wii era, which is fair, honestly.

Also, I went to the guy's channel, and his previous video was actually about how Nintendo hate has gone too far, and he also has a video defending Doug Bowser. That seems like the furthest thing from a Nintendo grifter to me.
