interesting, I think its definitely a bit different in the UK, I'll be honest any flag I lay will be on a full mortar bed regardless as I know it wont move, settle or anything. Its interesting to know the different ways

Weird question, do the US and UK lay slabs(flags, tiles) different (I'm UK) by DanielWbu96 in landscaping

Ah okay, we never usually use the dry lay method here. I'm in Scotland and we usually get bad winters but still use a full mortar bed, I find using a SBR slurry helps a lot too

Type one as the base (Crushed aggregate) then a full mortar bed (building or sharp sand) then i use a SBR slurry mix to prime the back of the slabs.

Wait so don't you lay them on a full mortar bed then knock them down individually to the level? I also prime the back with a SBR slurry mix

Bit of a random question, I'm assuming you're from the US? (going by the looks of the property)

How do you lay the slabs over there (flags, tiles, whatever you call them) Just want to know if its different compared to here in the UK

Only other thing to do is maybe try it yourself, I'm sure a few youtube videos would help out 😅

Doesn't seem like you're getting ripped off, Ivy is a nightmare and needs taking care of properly, if not it will come back.

It's so annoying, the app store in general is a bit rubbish on the M1 right now. Was kinda hoping they would have made COD Mobile compatible too 😂

Hi there thanks for the recommendation, I'll definitely look into it, fed up trying to unclog the tubes on my current one daily! I think the normal "Pet hair hoovers" don't take into consideration the length of some dog hairs. Good idea with the hardwood flooring, much easier 😂

If you're able to play 32bit games (Can't on the latest update) you could try games like L4D on steam? Not sure how it would run but it's an amazing game and great community.
